My weekend was pretty normal. Thursday I ran some errands with Manny, got some sleep and did my show at KCRH. It was pretty fun. Manny got to see Depeche Mode with Leeanne. I could have gone but I figured I would do my show since I missed talking on air last week.
Friday I slept in until noon and accompanied Manny to KCRH for his show. Later I had a nice dinner with Noelle while Manny and Ezra played video games at my place. Then we dropped Manny off at BART, Ezra off at his apartment, and picked up Stinky from work. After migrating to Starbucks, I decided I was tired and we went home.
Saturday I worked at KDFC, then came home and scanned/added some pictures from my birthday and other fun events. I took a nap and ended up eating dinner with my parents and going to Wal-Mart. Lovely evening.

Winning isn't everything??
This week has been interesting. Usual shit going on at the college radio station. Awards show went on Tuesday, and of course the people that won deserved it, but at the same time they are paid by the college so some parties disagree. I tend to sit in the middle. A lot of people deserved awards this year, and they are always given to the same types of people. I still have love for everyone at KCRH.. I just think there is one individual who worked very hard this semester and is taking it hard since he didn't win. Enough said.

La la la
Nothing really exciting going on in my life right now. Sunday we went to Maryanne's surprise party. It was fun, Manny entertained the older folks with stories of living in New England. Very interesting.
Yesterday I actually got some decent sleep, and went to Union Landing with Stinky and Manny. I spent most of my time resting in the car. Oh yeah, Turbo scratched the heck out of Manny a while ago, poor Mannypoo. I think he rolled over on top of him on the bed or something. :(

Just another weekend...
I had a pretty good weekend. Thursday I did my show, and was pretty pissed because the damn microphone in the studio still wasn't fixed. I basically played music for 3 1/2 hours, and farted around on Myspace. Ugh.
Friday I slept in until almost 1pm, then Manny and I ran errands and he did his radio show. Ezra showed up and ghetto-rigged it so the mic worked. Where was he on Thursday night? LOL. While Manny was on air, I dragged myself to the gym, got food at Mickey Ds and got gas. Life is expensive.
Saturday I worked at KDFC in the morning, actually having busy work most of my shift. Imagine that, me actually working at work. LOL. I got some sleep, and got groceries at Albertsons. My life is so damn exciting. Okay, here's what I played on my show this week.

Lots of errand running...
Nothing fantastic to report over the last few days. Tuesday I got some sleep, but not nearly enough. Manny and I were running errands, as usual, most of the afternoon. I spent a good portion of my Tuesday sitting in my car on Pike St. blasting NWA and watching about a hundred Coca-Cola trucks rumble past. How exciting.
Yesterday we ran errands in San Francisco, close to Golden Gate Park. We wanted to go to UCSF, but ended up at USF, which is right next door. Why have two separate universities right next to each other? Oh well, Manny's mission was completed, just a little off kilter. Oh yeah, on the way there some fat white guy on the bus started screaming at this Nigerian dude, threatening to beat his ass. For no reason. He just didn't like black people on a crowded bus standing next to him. What an asshole. The bus driver stopped the bus and made everyone get off except the fat dude, while he waited for the police. God I love MUNI.
The rest of my day was spent sleeping and normal stuff. Not even exciting enough to blog about. Oh yeah, I had this dream that some skinny girl was holding hands with Manny and stole him away. I woke up hyperventilating, but Manny was there to soothe me and get my breathing back to normal. I think sometimes I get way too wound up.

Life is exciting
Not a whole bunch of change with me over the last few days or so. Sunday I actually didn't have to work in SF, so I got to go home and sleep, and chill with my folks. I went to Dick's Resturant with Davina and Manny, they give great food and great portions there.
Yesterday I worked a longass shift here, then ran errands with Manny, and went home and did housework.
Later this morning I'm going to force myself to go to the gym, and run more errands with Manny. My life is so damn exciting.

Cha cha changes..
I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep the last few days. Tuesday I got my car worked on and it took 9 1/2 hours. That sucked. I was driving the mechanics crazy. It was great. They knocked off like $200 worth of labor since it was finished almost 5 hours after they promised me. It was all good, but I got almost no sleep that day.
Today I was busy running errands with Manny in the early afternoon in Santa Clara, then I went with Michelle to my Uncle Jims house to drop off Easter crap, then to Southland Mall and Target. I finally got that mop bucket I needed so I can give our floor at home a good mopping. My life is pathetic when I get excited about mopping. Pathetic and scary.
Free Fm is not looking good right now. Darian O Toole got fired last month, and John London got fired over the weekend. Darian was drinking, John was offering listeners 5 grand to off Penn Jellette. Unfortunately people thought it was a serious threat. Oh well, guess John finally pushed the limit too far.
Max FM fired its jocks this week. They aren't necesserily changing formats, though. That's how it goes in radio, one day you have a job, one day you don't. Sometimes it's your fault, most of the time its not. Very risky business, entertainment can be. Thank god I work for a non-profit most of the time. If I lost my commercial gigs, it would suck but I could survive. Okay I think it's nappytime. Later!

My trip to L.A.!
Yes everyone I am back from my nice weeklong vacation in L.A.!!!!! It was a blast!! Plenty to talk about and illustrate!!!
We left really late on Sunday night and took our time getting down there. Even after I took a 2 hour nap in some weird town near the Grapevine, we still arrived in Hollywood around 9am. We took plenty of interesting pics there.
Later that night after getting settled in the hotel we went to the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney, I didnt take any good pics there though.
On Tuesday it was raining (BOO!!) so we went to Sonny McClanes in Santa Monica which is a world famous west coast Boston sports hangout.
Stuck in L.A. traffic!!!

Trying to beatbox in the car during peak traffic in L.A.!
Then we went to Dave and Busters there in Anaheim and spent more money. We didn't take pics there though.
On Wednesday we went to Disneyland!!

On Thursday we took a tour of Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City but they wouldn't let us take pics once on the property, since most productions companies there are anal. I did see the Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune sets, and Adam Sandler's golf cart!
Real proton pack and helmet worn by Dan Akroyd in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.
No I don't know the old man, and he looks frightened. I think I blinded him. LOL
Then we went to a taping of Jay Leno that aired on Thursday April 6th, and a taping of Last Call with Carson Daly that will air early Saturday morning April 15th.
Friday we spent the day at Universal Studios in Hollywood and Universal Citywalk. It was a great ending to our vacation. Except for the incident with the psycho yuppie in the parking garage. Please IM me for that one, LOL.
Blues Brothers!!
Marilyn Monroe
Whoville used in The Grinch
From War Of The Worlds
The Fast and the Furious
SHAQ!
Okay that's about it!!
