top of the mornin to ya!

whoopee

  1. Went shopping and to dinner with Amy on Friday night. I picked up the wall charger for my iPod, and Davina's bday present. We also had yummy Mexican food at On The Border. Then we went back to my place, and soon Cathy, TJ, Jeff and Alicia came over. We all had a few drinks, some more than others. It was lots of fun. Saturday I hung out with Kimmie in Lodi. We went to Kmart and Big Lots, then came home and watched Supergirl. It was tons of fun.
  2. I ended up walking 6 miles on Saturday with Kimmie. We underestimated the Mapquest directions to Kmart, and it took like 2 hours to get there on foot. Kimmie has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair, and many sidewalks in Lodi are NOT wheelchair compliant. I smell a letter to the city brewing. I'm adding this as something good that happened simply because I got lots of exercise.
  3. Oh yeah on Saturday morning I didn't work in San Francisco, I took my folks to get the taxes done instead. I'm getting back over $500, which is awesome for me. Whoohooooo.
  4. I had a fairly decent radio show yesterday morning. Plus Tricia hooked me up with a KKIQ coffee mug. Awesomeness.
  5. I got my housecleaning done yesterday. Turbo left me subtle hints on the floor diguised as turds last night, telling me he was dissatisfied with his litterbox. So yeah I changed it, cleaned my bathroom and kitchen, straightened my desk, swept the floor, dusted, changed my bedsheets, all that fun stuff. Today I will have time for the gym, and I'm planning on going all week long, if I can. That will be totally rad.
ugh
  1. Okay yes I have to mention the 6 mile journey with Kimmie on Saturday again. Yes I did get exercise, but the fact that the city's streets are not wheelchair friendly sucks major ass. Also their bus system stops running at 5pm, which is dumb. And their dial-a-ride (dial-a-shit) sucks.
  2. I still feel like a fatty mcfat fat. I think my problem is that I've lost almost 30 lbs but you can't tell my looking at me. I've worn the same size shirt and pants since high school when I was 180. Until I really lose like 20-30 more lbs, no one will notice. I think my fat face is what makes it hard. Grrr.
