eventful weekend!

whoopee

  1. Had a good workout on Friday morning. My schedule is a little more complicated lately, so I'll only be able to hit the gym Tuesday through Friday mornings.
  2. Fernando had his baby! (Well Grace did most of the work.. LOL) Joey Alexander Ramos is 9 lbs 2 oz.. not sure about the length. I haven't gotten to meet him yet, I'm hoping to stop by this evening. He was born yesterday, on my ex boyfriend's bday. How ironic.. I guess.
  3. Went with Noelle to Dave and Busters on Friday night, and got a little drunk. I won an Elmo doll with my winnings, so it was a good night. Didn't have a great night at dinner, but I'll get into that in a minute.
  4. Did a pretty decent radio show yesterday morning. My parents and Michelle were listening so I gave them an informal shoutout. It was fun.
boooo
  1. My car still had probs starting on Friday morning here at work. I had to wait 10 minutes for it to kick over. It so pissed me off. It didn't have any issues the rest of the weekend so I'm not bothering taking it to the dealer or whatever for now.
  2. Friday night Noelle and I went to Outback Steakhouse in Milpitas since the restaurant inside Dave and Busters had a 2 hour wait. It was a 45 minute wait there at Outback, but we were okay with that, being a Friday night and all. Once we were seated, I ordered the Chicken Griller which is supposed to come with wild rice, veggies, and a side salad. I asked for double veggies and no rice. I ended up with one portion of veggies, either that or their portions are really small. When we got the bill I was charged extra for the salad which was supposed to be included. I also paid $8 for an alcoholic drink which definitely wasn't worth that much. The bill for my order came to almost $30. I felt I was ripped off. Something did come out of this. I emailed Outback Steakhouse's corporate website and let them know I was dissatisfied. A customer service rep called me in less than 30 minutes, apologized for my bad experience and said he was mailing a letter and gift card on Monday, so I can try the restaurant again. I was surprised at the attentive customer service I received. This time I may go to the one in Dublin, it might be less crowded.
