- Yay I'm back and yay it's almost the weekend. The last few days have been a little interesting. Wednesday morning a few hours after I wrote my last blog, my stomach randomly decided to start hurting and I puked several times here at work. I think it was the pot roast at Marie Callender that did me in. My boss let me leave at 5:30, and if I wasn't feeling so crappy I would have taken the opportunity to hit the gym. I was still nauseated but I had to take my sister and Dad shopping since I was booked the rest of the week. So I took a nap in my car in front of their house for about an hour. Then I puked out my door onto the street, and then proceeded to take them to Walmart/Lucky/Waste Management?Starbucks. After about 5 Rolaids and a vanilla bean frappucino (nice and creamy), my stomach felt better. We had to stop at Waste Management (ACI.. Alameda County Industry??.. something like that) since my family needed to order a dumpster. Don't ask, very long story. While I was there, I called my work (Family Radio) to let them know I was still feeling crappy and to see if I could get someone to cover my shift that night. Miraculously, Brad texted me that afternoon to tell me I was covered. I technically wasn't feeling as sick as I was that morning, but I appreciated the sick day (or night, rather) so I could get some rest. I spent Wednesday evening doing laundry and relaxing in front of the TV. I think I fell asleep around 1am.
- I woke up today around 9amish, had some breakfast, did most of my packing for this weekend, and folded my laundry. Then I took another nap until about noon. The way my schedule is, I sleep as much as possible when given the chance. Then I took a shower and hit the gym. I felt so proud of myself. It was hotter than a mutha so I decided to treat myself to a sugarfree iced vanilla latte from Maui Wowie, which was right across the parking lot. Then I worked at Traffic from 3-7pm. Then I was taking Michelle to Starbucks when Brad called and asked if I could come in here early at like 9pm. I can't resist overtime so of course I said yes. So I had barely enough time to get my stuff together and make dinner, then come on over to work.
- I'm so excited about my L.A. trip this weekend. Last year around this time Sandi and I had plans for a trip to SoCal but I was in the emergency room with killer cramps and low blood pressure so I had to cancel. I'm so glad I got over my tummy issues before this trip. I've never been to San Diego before so this will be awesome. I'm working a lot today so I hope Sandi likes driving, because I'll be trying to snooze the whole way down. Haha. Oh I also bought another memory card since my other two were full. I am ready to go, yo. Only 7 1/2 more hrs to go, and I'm outta here!! WOOT WOOT!!

back to the old grind
- Howdy folks. Me again. It's the middle of the week. Only a few days till my 3 day mini-vacation in Southern California. I think I need it. I need as much fun time off as possible. Who doesn't? Haha. The last few days have been pretty normal, nothing too weird. Let's see on Monday I took Dad to the opthamologist. Well Michelle took him inside I just slept in my car the whole time. Then I drove them home and went to bed. I woke up 4 hours later, got ready and worked at Traffic. Then I came home, did housework, made dinner, relaxed and watched TV. Then I came to work here.
- Tuesday I woke up at 1:30pm, got ready, ate some Cheerios and went to work at Traffic. Then Michelle called me because my Dad kept whining about wanting to get out of the house, so I took them to dinner at Marie Callender. Well Dad paid, but I drove them there. Then we stopped by my house for a bit so I wouldn't have to double back from their house before work. We watched Animal Police on Animal Planet, then I dropped them off before coming to work here. So I sleep, work, rest and work some more. Sense a pattern?
- Today is grocery day. I'll hit the gym with Michelle after work first, then do the whole Walmart/Lucky/Starbucks thing, go put away groceries, start some laundry, and get in bed by like 1pm. I think I'll take a half snooze here at work again in a bit, it's one of my 24 days. Well, only 2 days till good ol L.A./Anaheim/San Diego! Yay!

i hate pretzel nazis
- Hey there folks. Me again. I just got sour cream on my new CSI shirt, haha. Thought I'd share that with ya. My weekend was pretty chill, for the most part anyway. Friday I worked at Traffic, then came home and relaxed with Cathy and TJ. I watched TV for a few hours, then went to sleep.
- I woke up and worked in San Fran on Saturday morning as usual. Then when I got back to San Leandro, I picked up Michelle and we went to Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. It was really overcrowded since all the little size zero teenage girls were back to school shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch, etc. I was hot and tired, and I decided I wanted a pretzel from Auntie Anne's. I waited in line for 10 minutes, and then discovered I didn't have enough cash for my order and pulled out my ATM card. The lady at the counter was like "Cash only!" in a snooty tone. There was no sign anywhere that said "Cash Only". I took about 20 seconds to run to Michelle for a dollar and run back, then the lady said "Sorry, back of line." There were like 20 people there. I was MAD. As many of you know I always keep my cool in public, I rarely have an outburst. Well I finally had one. I told the lady to kiss my fat white ass and stormed off, loudly talking to Michelle about the 13 year olds dressing like sluts and yuppies all over the place. Was this a Christian thing to do? Um no. It's funny now that I look back on it, but dude that pretzel nazi got me mad. Later at home I cooled off a bit, then Fernando called so I met him and Joey at the Duck Pond. We got pizza at Pizza Hut and went back to his house. I got to give Joey a bath, it was fun. Later on in the evening I went home and watched more TV, and went to bed.
- Sunday morning I was supposed to go to church. I overslept. I felt bad but I guess my body was extra tired. Then I went and had lunch at Horatio's with Mike P, my old pal from KCRH and Family Radio who was in town. That place is nice, and lunch is nowhere as expensive as dinner is. It was fun catching up on each others' lives and stuff. After lunch I got my car detailed/waxed at Hutch's, then went home and took a nap for a few hours. In the evening Michelle and I went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Pleasanton, stopped by Starbucks near my house, then home so I could nap and she could watch TV. Then I dropped her off at home, stopped by Davina's house to pick up some copies of pictures, and now I'm at work. Yay.
- I don't know how much rest I'll be getting today. Dad has an optometrist appointment at 8am, and I'm going to snooze in the car. Then after I drop them off I get to go home and sleep about 4 1/2 hrs, then get up for work. How fun. Oh by the way Davina gave me a CD with some pictures from Vegas, I'll be uploading them in a few. Once I get the comp back I'll have a TON of pics to put up.

Vegas Blog part 2
- What's up, homies? It's me, I'm back again. Here at work in San Fran playing lovely classical stuff. Okay now where were we? Oh it was on Monday and we went to see Tournament Of The Kings at Excalibur. It came with dinner that we ate with our hands, just like at Medeival Times in Southern California. The best part about the show were the sexy young jousters. We sat in the Ireland section, and Mr. Ireland there was pretty HOT. I should have taken a picture. Haha. We seriously saved a lot of money by going to Tix 4 Tonight. There's 3 or 4 locations there in Vegas, and it's well worth waiting in line. Anyway after watching the sexy jousting, we took the Monorail over to the Sahara and walked to the Stratosphere. We had a little over an hour before our show so we went up on the Stratosphere tower. Boy what a view, man. We got our picture taken, and it looks hilarious. Once I get the computer back and scan it in, you'll laugh your socks off. After our lovely tour we went to see Bite!. Now what was amusing was we didn't realize it was a topless show. ROTF. So yeah, we had our share of both women's and men's depravity.. hahaha. It was very entertaining though, I wouldn't reccomend it for prude people. Lots of singing, provocative acrobatics, dancing. Least there was a cool rock soundtrack to it. Note: Davina picked it since she thought it would be some random show about vampires, she loves them. She had no idea it was a semi-naked show. I'm still laughing. Haha. By the time that show was over, we were exhausted. I had been up since Sunday morning, and Davina didn't sleep much on Sunday night since she was so excited. The second we got in the hotel room, we both crashed and were asleep in minutes.
- Okay now for Day 2. Can you believe all that happened in Day 1? Crazy. So we woke up, got ready, and headed on out for another long day of adventuring. First thing we did was hit up Tix 4 Tonight again, so we could get good prices on shows. Our picks for the day were The Fab Four (awesome Beatles cover band) at Planet Hollywood and The Chippendales at The Rio. After scooping up our tix, we checked out the M&Ms store nearby, where I snagged some candy (I'm bad) and a few souveneirs. Then we took the Monorail to the Paris Hotel, and checked that out before heading to Planet Hollywood. Another note: If you've never been to Vegas you may not realize it takes at least 30 minutes to successfully get through a hotel from one end to the other. Not only because each hotel is the size of a giant shopping mall, but also because there are a lot of slow moving old folks near the slot machines. Always plan ahead if you have a show to get to. LOL. So we took plenty of pics in the Paris Hotel because the inside of it looks like the cobblestone streets of Paris. We also went up on the Eiffel Tower on top of the hotel and took pictures. Great view. Then we finally made our way to Planet Hollywood. We had gotten discount coupons for this great restaurant called Pampas Churrascaria. It's kinda like an upscale buffet. They bring all kinds of meat to your table for you to try, and they have an all you can eat salad bar. The food selection there is really unique, I've never eating much South American cuisine but it was all tasty. Lots of fruit. After our satisfying lunch, we walked around the whole Miracle Mile mall and then went to the box office to get our Fab Four tix. We paid $15 more and upgraded to VIP and get tickets a lot closer to the stage. The show was great and worth the money. We would have stayed and taken pics with them but we had to get a taxi to The Rio so we could get our Chippendales tix in time. Taxis do cost a lot and I don't reccomend them in Vegas unless you really need to be somewhere in a hurry. So we arrived at the Rio and got our tix, and had a pretzel at Auntie Anne's to tide us over until after the show. By the way the whole time we were in this hotel I kept singing that Duran Duran song... "Her name is Rio and she dances 'cross the sand.. ". So yeah the Chippendales were HOT! Their show made my life complete. I can die a happy woman. I liked it when they only had a towel on their you know whats and were humping the stage. WHEW. Calm down, Lisa. After the show we took pics with them. Man that was exciting. WHOO BABY. Believe me once you see them, you'll understand. After that life changing event, we took a shuttle back to Caesar's Palace to check that out. Afterward we checked out The Mirage and The Flamingo. The Mirage has a great show with fountains synchcronizing sprays of water with music. We were stuck watching the Titanic song which I hate with a passion but it was awesome anyway. There is also a beautiful atrium garden thing inside the hotel. My mom would have loved it. All kinds of rare plants and stuff. The Flamingo was cool since they have a real flamingo sanctuary. It smelled kinda funky, so we took pics and left right away. We also walked through Bally to see if they had anything fun. It was just your run of the mill hotel and casino. We took the Monorail from there back to the MGM, stopped at McDonalds for some late dining, and went to bed. As you can imagine we were tired after all that walking and excitement.
- Okay Day 3, last day of the trip. We packed up all our stuff and checked it in for the hotel to hold onto it until we were ready to catch our shuttle back to the airport that evening. We had breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe there at the MGM. I had a yummy breakfast pizza. That place is awesome. There's one in San Francisco near Fisherman's Wharf but I've never been there. Next time I go there I'll check it out. Then we caught The Deuce (double decker city bus that goes downtown) to Fremont Street. Our bus driver looked just like Eazy-E, and I took a pic with him when we were getting off. He thought we were hilarious. Fremont Street is cool, but is probably more magical at night during the light display. We went in the early afternoon and took pics of the old hotels like Glitter Gulch. I also had Dunkin Donuts for the first time. An iced coffee and a blueberry muffin. I just heard there's a Dunkin in Pinole or some obscure place here in the Bay Area. I was not aware of that. Oh well. It was pretty good, we need to get one nearby. There are too many Starbucks everywhere. Oh yeah, we made this video where they put our heads on some dancing cartoon bodies and we lip synch to music. Davina's going to make a copy for me. It's great. So we headed on back to the Strip, and checked out The Venetian. We were going to go on a gondola ride, but they were only doing the outdoor ones and it was WAY too hot. We walked around the shopping area which catered to the very rich tourists. Stores like Tiffany & Co, Giorgio Armani, stuff like that. Then we checked out the wax museum, it's awesome. It's interactive so you can actually hug the statues, lay on the bed with Hugh Heffner, get interviewed by Oprah, stuff like that. Davina and I took some great pics. After the wax museum we headed on back to the hotel and got our bags, and waited for our shuttle. Then waited longer, and longer. We had a voucher for a particular bus but after waiting 30 minutes we paid another $6 to ride another shuttle to the airport. So like I mentioned in part 1, a voucher isn't worth it, shuttles are never on time. We made it to the airport over an hour before our scheduled flight so we were okay. I had a whopper jr with cheese meal with apple slices and water for dinner there before we got on the plane. The flight only took like an hour. Before we knew it, we were back in Oakland again.
- A few observations during the trip that I didn't discuss. There are perverts everywhere, man. First of all, what's up with the ancient old fogies and the 18 year old girls? Either the men are rich or the girls are prostitutes, or maybe both. So sad. Also, we were eating lunch at this food court thing next to the M&Ms store on Day 1, and this old guy sits next to Davina reading his paper. Then she leaves to get an iced tea and he sits there humming to himself and playing pocket pool (you know, grabbing his crotch). I got the heck outta there, man. What a freak. Oh and all along the strip these Mexican dudes hand out hundreds of cards to guys for call girls. There are prostitute ads everywhere. Las Vegas sure is the sex capital of the U.S., man. I mean Davina and I saw some freaky shows and male strippers, but we just look, we don't touch. Freakazoids, geez.

Vegas part 1
- I'm baaaaack!! Yup I am back in good old Oakland, California, literally trying to stay awake. My boss will be here in the next 15 min or so and I really need a nap. I have the strong feeling I won't finish the blog this morning, and may have to do it tomorrow when I'm at KDFC and fully conscious. I could have blogged earlier but I was on the phone with Davina for like 2 1/2 hrs and squeezed in some bible study.
- Okay so Monday morning after work I sped on over to my parents' house so Davina's dad could pick me up and take both of us to the airport. I checked my bag and we got through security in plenty of time, and I had a muffin and an iced coffee at Starbucks for breakfast. We finally boarded our plane and we were on our way. On a side note I do love Southwest, I can see why you love it so much, Sandi. The fares are much cheaper and they don't charge you to check your bags like other airlines are now doing. Our flight took a little over an hour, that was it. After we landed and I got my luggage off the baggage claim, we were able to check in at the MGM Grand from there at the airport and get a shuttle to the hotel. Another side note, it saves time and money to not buy a round trip voucher for the trip back to the airport. I'll explain that later on in the blog.. probably in part 2. It'll make more sense then. So we got to the hotel and WOW it was huge. Must have been a few blocks long, it seemed like. We arrived at our room in the West Wing and it was snazzy. There was a freakin phone on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom. A flat screen TV built into the mirror in the bathroom. I took a shower since I'd been up for like 24 hours by then and I was feeling kinda funky. After that we hit the strip, and found a place called Tix 4 Tonight that sold really good tickets for shows are reduced prices. We got our tix for Tournament Of Kings at Excalibur and Bite! at the Stratosphere. Then we did a lot more walking and explored The Luxor, The Mirage, and hung out at Excalibur before the show. Davina and I played air hockey, and she schooled me. It was pathetic. Okay I'll finish this blog tomorrow.. I'm almost ready to go home and hit the hay.
To be continued..

Yaaay
- What's up brothas and sistas? I'm EXCITED! I'm leaving for Vegas in a matter of hours. I'm sitting here wolfing down my chef salad, drinking my cherry coke zero and trying to figure out when I'll be sleeping. I should take a nap soon. In fact I may just finish half this blog and then snooze, and come back to it. My boss isn't coming in today, he's covering for me the next 3 nights. That means I can half doze most of my shift. Yay!
- Okay so Friday afternoon I worked at Traffic, and then that evening I went on some last minute errands with Michelle. We went to Bath and Body Works (didn't need anything from there but we had a coupon), and besides my two body washes I also got a travel size body spray for my trip. Then we hit up Payless Shoe Source and I got a cute pair of dressy sandals/shoes for the club for like $20. Last on our trip was Target so I could get sunscreen, more socks and disposable wipes. Later I went home and did lots of packing, then Cathy gave me a pedicure.
- Saturday I did my usual thing at KDFC in the city, then went out to Lodi to kick it with Kimmie for 80s greatness. Let's see where do I begin? First thing we watched was the first episode of the third season of Wonder Woman guest starring Leif Garrett called "My Teenage Idol Is Missing". He was hot for a teen. Whoo. As we were watching that, Cathy and TJ showed up and hung out with us for a few hours. I think we tortured them with "When The Bough Breaks", a bad TV movie starring Ted Danson and that dude that played Veda's uncle in My Girl. It was pretty cheesy, but hey it was 1986. After that was the New Kids with their Step By Step video. Cathy and TJ left right after the beginning of Boltneck starring Matthew Lawrence, Judge Reinhold and Shelly Duvall. Too bad, they missed out on my movie boyfriend sucking face with Shelly Duvall. LMAO When Boltneck was over Kimmie put me through two episodes of the Golden Girls, and another episode of Wonder Woman entitled Amazon Hot Wax which I throughly enjoyed. Who can't enjoy Judge Reinhold's first TV role ever as Jeff, one half of a scary singing duo with horrible matching 70stastic outfits? If my computer were back and I had time I'd show you a pic, it was wonderful. He always plays such retards/dorks with flair and confidence. Oh I forgot, we had McDonalds for dinner (mcnuggets kids meal with apple slices) and chocolate creme pie for dessert which Cathy made.
- Sunday we got up around 9am or so. I took a shower, and we ate leftover pie and coffee for breakfast. Bad, I know. I tortured Kimmie with Four Eyes and Six Guns, another Judge flick, he was dorky and cute in that one. I love how the swanky guitar riff lets the viewer know that trouble is lurking nearby. It's in every TV show/movie I've seen, practically. Anyway.. after that we were picked up by Dial A Ride which we refer to as Dial A Crap, and had lunch at Lyons with Kimmie's mom. What an experience. Her mom means well, I guess. She's just weird, but lots of older folks are. She gave me a sleepytime Ernie doll thing, so that was unexpected and nice. So we finally get back to Kimmie's house and watch one of our favorites, Legend Of Billie Jean. Really great movie, and Yeardley Smith looks so freaking young, it's crazy. I then tortured Kimmie with one last film, Baby On Board starring Judge and Carol Kane. He had long hair and a creepy moustache so he kind of looked like a child predator. Poor guy. By that time I had to leave since I had to pack and do last minute things at home before work. Traffic in Tracy wasn't as bad, there was a slight delay but nothing longer than 10 minutes.
- Oh yes, I did take a slight snooze while writing this. For a few hours. Well I half dozed anyway. I'm so excited about my trip and it's hard to sleep while I'm so energized. I'll take a ton of pictures, I promise. YAAAAAAY!!

im tired but excited!
- What's up folks? I'm tired. You'll figure out why in a minute. Okay so Wednesday morning I did go to the gym (yay for me!) and did the usual Walmart-Lucky-Petsmart-Starbucks run. We don't hit up Petsmart that often but my dad's dog Happy is on a special diet because of allergies so he has to eat special food, and they were running low. Anyway, I managed to get about 7 hours of sleep on Wednesday, and that was awesome. I woke up around 7pm because Cathy/TJ were making dinner and it smelled great, plus TJ finally brought home the newest additions to our family. Their names are Buster

and Prada

- They seem like really nice dogs. After I was already up I took a shower and ate dinner, and watched a lot of TV, then came to work. Now my schedule today was a bit nuts. I worked earlier at Traffic from 3-7pm, and I'm working here from 7:30pm-7am. That's why I'm a bit bushed.
- I'm not too bad though, since I'm extra excited about my weekend at Kimmie's house and my Vegas trip next week. I will be blogging early on Monday morning since I have that overnight shift hours before I leave. Fun, yes I know. Oh on a fantastic note, I'll have my camera back by the trip. I should have had it back today, but FedEx tried to deliver it approximately 10 minutes after I left for work and no one was home. They require a signature, boo. I may be able to pick it up at the FedEx headquarters here in Oakland tomorrow evening. If I would have checked on it online I coulda picked it up in between jobs a few hours ago, it's right down the street. You suck, FedEx!! Anyway yeah, I'll have my camera back for the trip.. and I didn't have time to call Gateway and bother them during business hours today since I was busy at my other job. I've gotta call and bitch again tomorrow.
- Okay toodles for now. I'll blog about my 80stastic weekend on Monday. I'm going to eat this chicken parmigiana Healthy Choice meal and keep myself busy, maybe take a nappy poo.

5 days till Vegas!
- Heidi ho neighbors. It's the middle of the week, yo. Not too much going on. Monday I slept, worked, went to Claimjumper with Michelle, and worked again. Tuesday I slept, worked, went walking with Cathy, did housework, made dinner and watched a little TV, then came here. I know it's extremely thrilling.
- One thing I am overjoyed about is that I'm borrowing Amy's camera for Vegas. So I will have awesome pics and video. I promise I won't break it. If I break it, I buy it. This has been one less thing to worry about. My camera is still in Illinois being repaired and it'll probably get mailed back to my house while I'm in Vegas. Great timing. Still waiting on the fr#$%in software. It's been shipped, but how long does it take to mail two CDs? I'll try to get another update from Gateway soon.
- Today I'm hitting the gym after work (finally) then it's grocery time. We need a lot of stuff, it seems. Oh well. Okay well I need to make a grocery list and take a semi-snooze in a bit. It's one of my 24 hour days, literally.. so any nap I can take is a good one.

i need to get in shape
- Hey there homie G's. I'm back from my weekend. It was pretty fun. Friday afternoon I worked at Traffic then took Michelle and Dad to Applebee's in Alameda for dinner. Then I had time to come home and chill for about an hour before coming to work here. It was TJ's bday so there were lots of people, pizza and booze at my place. I was so bummed that I had to work on a night where a great party was taking place. Oh well, guess it kept me out of trouble in the long run, and I made 8 hours of overtime in the process. Right after I got off that job, I took BART to San Fran to work at KDFC until 1pm. Then I promptly I went home and CRASHED. I was so exhausted. I was up for 25 hours, and working 19 of them. I totally fell asleep on BART but woke up a stop before mine, at the Coliseum. So later that evening I woke up around 9pm and made myself some supper and watched TV until about 1am, then went back to bed. That was my Saturday.
- Sunday morning I woke up at 8:30am, got ready, then Cathy and I picked up Michelle and Dad and headed on up to Sebastopol to visit Mom's grave and go to the Gravenstein Apple Fair. We made a few stops along the way, to get gas and Starbucks of course. Visiting mom and my other dead relatives was bittersweet, but it was still good to be physically close to where she is, if that makes any sense. I mean spiritually she's not there, but you know what I mean. The apple fair was okay. We honestly only stayed about an hour, if that. It was mostly dirt and leaves everywhere, and very rugged terrain to push Dad's chair around in. The arts and crafts people sold were overpriced, but the food prices weren't bad at all compared to other fairs, rock concerts, etc. Corn dogs were only $4, could have been worse. That's what Cathy and I had for lunch. So nutritional, I know. Then we headed on home, not before stopping at Starbucks again. Hahaha. Yeah my family has a caffeine problem, can you tell? Later on at home, I forced Cathy to watch some cheesy movies with me. Boltneck (starring Matthew Lawrence featuring my man Judge Reinhold with Shelly Duvall.. haha), and then Little Giants with the commentary from Icebox and the director. Cathy gave me a makeover during Little Giants and took pics of me with Amy's camera which we borrowed since mine is being fixed. I hated most of my pics because of my numerous chins. I hate my chins. I think I need to exercise more. I work so much and when I'm not working I'm trying to get enough sleep. I actually did some Taebo type exercising a while ago before I started blogging just to get my heart rate up, hope it helped. So after I kept on complaining about my chins, Cathy decided to go on a walk with me to the duck pond and I felt better. We decided to do more exercise together when I can (plus I go to the gym like twice a week.. well I try to), and I need to buy an Allen wrench so I can adjust the seat on my new bike and finally ride it. So I'm going to try to be healthier and exercise, but it's way too hard when I work 60 hour weeks and go random places on weekends where people say "It's okay Lisa, live a little." Very frustrating. I was also promised fewer treats sitting around the kitchen, but I'll see about that. Okay that was my weekend story/rant, now to do more surveys or something, maybe take a nap. Oh yeah, one week till VEGAS!!!!

And I keep on chuggin along
- What's up homie G's? Not much here. Let's see on Wednesday morning I drug myself to the gym even though I was exhausted. Then we hit Walmart for half the grocery shopping, the UPS Store so I could ship my stupid broken camera back to Illinois, and Lucky for the other groceries. Then Starbucks of course. I got about 6 hours of sleep, then Cathy woke me up since I promised I'd take her to dinner. We went to Chevy's (they serve Mexican food in case you didn't know), and it was very tasty. Later on in the evening I watched a lot of Scrubs and some other stuff on TV, then came to work. Thursday I should have gone to the gym. I was very exhausted after getting 6 hours or less of sleep for 3 days in a row. So I opted for crashing at home after putting clothes in the dryer and cleaning the litterbox. Fun. When I woke up around 5pm TJ invited me to join him and Cathy for dinner at The Englander in San Leandro. There was live music there (old dudes playing blues) and Alisha showed up too. We had a lot of fun. Then I came home, showered, and watched lots of TV before coming to work here. I'm glad I had time to rest and veg out for once.
- Now normally I'd be giddy since this is usually my "Friday". I not only have to work this afternoon at Traffic which I don't mind, but I'm working an extra shift here tonight for Yuriy the weekend guy. I need the money, and he's covering for me at the end of this month when I'm going to L.A. Fair is fair. So I have to get up at 1:30pm this afternoon and work in Emeryville, go home and eat/chill for 3 hours, work here until 7am, then drive to San Leandro BART and go to San Fran and work there until 1pm. Then that afternoon I will go home and SLEEP. A LOT. That's my whole Saturday night in a nutshell. Sunday we're all going to the Apple Fair in Sebastopol and it'll be awesome. I haven't gone in like 20 years, since mom and grandma took me. I'll bring my bootsy backup camera that takes incredibly blurry pictures and see what I can do with that. Cathy has a camera phone, and we may borrow Amy's camera if she can find her charger. If not, no big deal. I want to see clowns. And llamas. I'm excited. See y'all on Monday.

one thing after another
- What's up homie G's? Nothing too exciting here, just working my booty off as always. Monday I slept, got up, worked, then took Michelle and Dad to dinner at Chilis. It was pretty yummy. Then I went to work again. Oooh. Tuesday I slept, got up, worked, came home and ate dinner, watched some TV and came here. As you can see, I'm just following the same old routine.
- I spent way too much time on the phone Tuesday afternoon. I checked up on my software and it's been shipped so I'll get it any day now. That means I'll have my computer back soon enough. Thank God. Then I had to call T-Mobile since they had a mix up with the payment I did last week. After calling my bank and calling T-Mobile again, things were straightened out. I also took Michelle's phone off my plan so I'll be paying $20 less every month. Oh and then I forgot about the best part. While taking pics Tuesday morning, my camera decided to take a crap. Cathy was actually the one using it but I'm sure it isn't operator error. It keeps saying "lens error" and the lens won't go back into the camera, while it makes a weird noise. I talked to the folks at Canon, and now I'm UPSing my camera out this morning to be repaired. Kinda sucks but at least it's under warranty. The bummer is that I probably won't have my camera back by my Vegas trip. I have my old camera which takes very blurry pics, and Davina's bringing her camera. Plus no pics from the Apple Fair this weekend. Booo. It seems like one thing after another, I swear.
- Besides visiting the UPS Store, this morning I'm going to hit the gym, and take my folks for the usual Walmart/Lucky run. I may take a quick snooze here at work since I'm exhausted and I'll be up until like 1pm. Oy vey.

i had a blast
- What's up my homies? I had fun this weekend. I'm tired and sunburned, but that's okay. It was well worth it. Friday morning I should have gone to the gym, but I had last minute errands to run and I wanted to get enough sleep, so I skipped out. I'm bad. In the afternoon I drove to Stockton and met Sandi at her house. We went to dinner at BJ's. That place is awesome, and the pizuki was off the hook. Later on at her house I tried really hard to fall asleep but it was hot and my body just wouldn't let me. I didn't get much sleep that night but oh well.
- Saturday was awesome times times infinity. Really it was. We did have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn (5am) since we had to be in Tracy by 6:30am to meet up with Sandy, one of Sandi's pals. When we were getting gas in Tracy I had to poo really bad and went at the McDonalds across the street and got myself an iced coffee. Yes I like sharing my poo stories. Everyone does it, people. Anyway after that we met up at Sandy's house since she was driving us down to Monterey, where the concert was at. It was a 2 hour drive from there and I nursed my drink the whole way, I needed it to wake myself up. We finally got there sometime in the late morning after making a few stops along the way. There was so much to do. We walked around and looked at vendors, got food and stuff. They had a great deal where if you buy a cup of lemonade or iced tea for $6, you could get unlimited refills. We definitely took advantage of that. Anyway I had a BBQ chicken sandwich for lunch, and later on I had a chicken burrito for dinner. Further on in the evening I had bread pudding for dessert. Yum! I also bought a neat shirt that says "High five if you love Jesus!" which I'm wearing right now. Plus we met Bob and Larry from Veggietales. We're so mature, I know. The musical acts we actually watched were Todd Agnew, Aaron Shust (who I met last year in Modesto), Superchick who I really like, Kutless and the headliner of the night, Newsboys. During their breakfast song we threw a box of Capn Crunch randomly at each other since that's a tradition. Everyone did it despite someone some dude randomly telling people earlier that we can't. Oh well. We cleaned up some of our mess, but it was impossible to clean it all. Oh yeah after Newsboys we saw stand-up comedy from Gary King (up and comer but he's awesome!) and Bob Smiley. I always want to call him Guy Smiley for some reason. He doesn't look like him, oh well. All in all I had a fantastic time and felt a real connection with God. Oh I almost forgot. I signed up up to sponsor a child in Africa. I get to write to her and send her my picture and everything, I'm real excited about that. I have so much that I'm blessed to have and I take it for granted, while kids in third world countries and physically and spiritually starving. I wanna make a difference. I feel like singing MJ's "Man In The Mirror". Haha.
- Sunday was pretty low key. We didn't get back to Stockton until about 3am, and I crashed there at Sandi's until around 8. Then I went to Mcdonalds for some breakfast and iced coffee, and headed on home. Once back in the good old SLZ I did some housework, took a shower, and watched The Meeksville Ghost starring Judge Reinhold of course and then some of Scrubs season 3. Then I napped for a very long time, woke up and made dinner, then watched Hot Shots! and napped again. This week I'm working 68 hours so I need all the rest I can get. I posted new pics on my page, Sandi sent them to me. As soon as I get the computer back, you all know I'll hundreds of pics to post from over the last few months. Okay gotta scrounge up some food, I'm hungry.

i'm gonna have a rockin weekend
- Heidi ho neighbors. What's crackin? Not much here. Let's see Wednesday I did the same old routine. Slept, worked at Traffic, then I went to Davina's house and we went over our plans for Vegas. They're all set and I can't wait! Later on I went home and worked on some laundry, did some dishes, cleaned the litterbox and made supper. Then I watched TV and went to work. Thursday was grocery day. I should have gone to the gym but I was exhausted and I had to be home before noon since the Roto Rooter guy was coming to unclog the sink. I actually got home before 11am miraculously, and had time to put groceries away, put stuff in the dryer and veg out and watch some TV for a change. Roto Rooter man came and got the sink unclogged by 12:30pm, and I was in bed asleep by 1pm. I got 8 glorious hours of sleep, it was great.
- This weekend should be totally awesome. I'm hanging out with Sandi tonight and sleeping over at her house, because we're leaving for Monterey with one of her work pals around 6am on Saturday. Spirit West Coast is kinda like a Lollapalooza/Warped Tour for Christian rock, in a nutshell. It's a 3 day long event but we're only going on the last day, which is fine. We'll be there all day and I'll be back at home sometime very early on Sunday morning. I may miss church, but oh well. Sunday I'm supposed to meet with my cousin Kim about a CD I'm making for her in the next month or so. We're probably gonna hang out and do lunch somewhere, I guess. Well see ya later folks, I'm gonna finish the rest of my breakfast here and chill out.

Gateway sucks and Viva Las Vegas!
- I'm baaaaack. Yeah it's only been a few days, but oh well. Life's been pretty busy. Monday I went home after work, slept, got up, showered, went to work, came home, did housework, ate dinner while watching Scrubs, then went to work again. Tuesday I did exactly the same thing. I did contact Gateway again, and boy am I pissed. I had received this funky email from a customer service person who had terrible grammatical skills. My first instinct was that some scam artist hacked my account or something, because it looked like some dude from Nigeria had written it, it was that bad. Well I called their customer service dept and after 20 min on hold I talked to "Maria" who informed me that I owed $3.07 for shipping and handling on my software and there was a hold on my order. I asked her when I should expect my software and she said she wasn't sure, up to a month. Then I blew up. I got MAD. It takes a lot to piss me off. I went off and told her about how I ordered the software in early June, how they lost my order and then found it again. I asked why they didn't charge me the $3 a month and a half ago, and she had no good answer. Finally I hung up on her and wrote a nasty email to Gateway in complaint. I'm going to continue calling them once a day and emailing constantly so they know my voice is heard. I am not waiting another month for these jerkholes to get their shit together. Pardon the language but I'm mad. Seriously. If I were rich I'd say screw all this and buy a new computer, but I'm not that crazy. It crossed my mind, though.
- In other news, Davina and I are planning to go to Vegas the middle of next month. I'm so excited. And I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it. Ohhh yeeeah! Sorry, couldn't help that one. All my jobs gave me the time off, we're gonna sit down and plan stuff this evening. If I can get that Sunday night off too, we can get a 6am flight out of Oakland and get there by 10am. We'll save $80 on our package. I'm gonna sweet talk my boss this morning, I'll let y'all know how that pans out. Hee hee.

Badass weekend
- Hello boys and girls. I'm back from my weekend, and it was pretty busy. To say the least. Friday morning I hit the gym with Michelle then went and visited Fernando at Pac N Save. Then later on Friday evening I went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with Fern, Grace, Joey and a few of their friends. I had an awesome time and Fernando is a major dweeb. That's why he's one of my best friends. Then we sat around his house talking about the good old days. Oh and I got Roadhouse 66 starring Judge Reinhold and William Defoe, it was pretty okay. A little nudity, and Defoe is hot in that young creepy greasy kinda way.
- Saturday I worked at KDFC as usual. I actually had to do most of my shift in a production studio and I had plenty of busy work. I'm not concerned since I'm paid to do my job, not surf Myspace all morning. Haha. Then I met Davina there in San Fran and we had lunch at Blondie's Pizza. Whole wheat vegetarian. Yummy. We were supposed to go to a movie there inside of Westfield Mall (?) by Union Square but there was some sort of power outage and that part of the mall was closed. We discovered this after going up 5 floors worth of escalators and becoming very confused. Then we decided to go back to the east bay and see Stepbrothers in Dublin. Before the movie we got ice cream at Fuddruckers, and discovered there was a Cold Stone right next door, which has much better ice cream. Oh well. Stepbrothers was an awesome movie. Okay there was a lot of cussing, and some male nudity. It was awesome in that stupid way. Several of the things both Will Ferrell and John C Reilly's characters do remind me of myself and Davina. It was great and worth the hassle to see it. Later on in the evening I took Michelle and Dad to Applebee's in Alameda. My stomach was kinda funky from greasy popcorn at the movies so I blew up the bathroom at Borders. Why am I telling you guys? Well it's my blog and I can write what I want. So HA!
- Sunday morning I did go to church, I love Faith Fellowship. Their worship team is like a toned down Earth Wind and Fire. Sure they do quiet songs but the loud ones get my blood pumpin. One of the ushers who is always glad to see me called me "Sunshine". Hee Hee. Then Michelle, Dad and I spontaneously decided to go to the San Francisco Zoo. We always say we'll take Dad to the zoo, but we never end up going. It was so much fun. The tiger cubs were the cutest. I took tons of pics so of course once the computer's back (hopefully this week) they'll be posted. It took an hour and a half to get back to San Leandro, which is insane. Dad had to pee the whole time. Something tells me it would have been easier to take 1o1 south to 92 and just come from Hayward. Oh well. We had Jack In Da Crack for dinner. I had chicken pieces and a fruit cup. Yum. I took an hour long nap earlier, but I'm still pooped as heck.
- This week is going to be crazy as heck. Lots of work, and a concert on the weekend. All next month is going to be crazy too. I'm hoping to get more time off. Davina and I have badass plans if I do. Yay!!

what you talkin bout?
- What's up my homies? Me again, so happy it's Friday. The week went by pretty fast, which was awesome. Wednesday morning I hit the gym and did grocery shopping, then went home and put stuff away, did some housework. I was up for like 24 hours straight. Just to let you guys know, running on a treadmill after being up 20 hours or so is not advisable. I was feeling very weird/tired to say the least.
- Thursday morning I hit the gym again, went home, ate breakfast, and watched VH1 Classic and Different Strokes on BET. I tried napping but I just wasn't tired. I had to go to Traffic for a boringass conference call at 11, and yes it was boring. If I hadn't been drinking iced coffee I would have fallen asleep. Then I went home and slept until about 7:30, got up and watched Scrubs, took a shower, made dinner, and watched more Scrubs commentary episodes. Now I'm here. So thrilling, huh?
- This weekend should be chill. See I always use "chill" as a verb but lately I've seen people use it as an adjective so that's what I'm doing. Anyway, tonight I'm not sure what's up just yet. May go to the movies, or might just stay home and chill with Cathy, watching movies. Same on Saturday, except that I have to work in the morning and I'll be hitting the gym in the afternoon. Sunday I'm planning on going back to church and hitting the gym too. Might as well. I'm sure I'll have a fun story or two when I blog on Monday morning. Okay later skaters.

Texas Roadhouse is awesome
- Hello homie Gs.. it's the middle of the week. Whoopee. As usual, not too much going on. Monday I slept, got up, worked, came home and made dinner, watched Scrubs, and went to the fulltime gig.
- I did pretty much the same thing on Tuesday. Only a few differences. I called and barked to Gateway again (while at work at Traffic) and it turns out they screwed up my order, and it's coming next week. *sigh* I'm going to write a lovely email to them in a bit letting them know just how thrilled I am that it's taken so freaking long for a set of restore disks. Good god. Also on Tuesday evening after working at Traffic I picked up Michelle and we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. That place is so goooooood. I think it's the fresh yummy bread that lures me in. I had chicken mushroom portabello with a house salad and steamed veggies. It was off the hook. For reals.
- Not much planned in the next few days. I'm going to hit up the gym at least 3-4 times the rest of this week, Lord willing. I need the exercise. This morning is grocery day so that's cool. Oh and I have to attend a stupid conference call on Thursday morning. That's about it. Now I'm off to make a shopping list. Peace! *putting up 2 fingers sideways so I can look gangsta*

i actually got sleep
- Hey there homey G's. I'm back from the weekend. Yay. Not. Oh well it's not that bad. I'm only working 55 hours this week, so I'm cool. Let's see what did I do over the weekend? Friday afternoon/evening I worked at my Emeryville job and stayed a bit late since there was a freeway closure in Sacramento. Fun stuff. Then I hung out with Cathy and Amy. We ate Taco Bell and drove around the Oakland hills just like old times. Then TJ called and had a surprise for Cathy, he got her a new kittycat! His name is JD, he's Siamese and very cute. He was found outside of a bar in San Lorenzo and since Jack Daniels is Cathy's liquor of choice, that was the reason behind the kitty's name. He's so cute! I can't wait to get a pic on here. Spencer was a bit wary at first, but now they're great friends. We spent the rest of the evening playing with JD and watching Intensity (that scary John McGinley serial killer movie).
- Saturday I worked in the city, then hit the gym and got a serious workout. I actually jogged for 10 minutes and walked for 15. For me that's a lot. Then I went home and spent the rest of the evening relaxing and torturing Cathy with bad 80s stuff. First we watched The Muppets Take Manhattan, then Off Beat (that bad Judge Reinhold on rollerskates pretending to be a cop movie) and Ghostbusters II. Oh yeah, before we watched movies, we went to TJ's friends house and were introduced to some doggie friends that are joining our family in the next week two. Buster is a giant black dog who weighs at least 100 lbs and he's just big and stupid. He slobbered all over us. I forgot the name of the other doggie but she's a female pit bull and seemed lovable as well. So soon there'll be 3 humans, 2 cats and 2 dogs living in our home. Talk about full house. Anyway after Ghostbusters II, I was still on a Rick Moranis kick so I watched Honey I Shrunk The Kids in my room and fell asleep. Haha.
- Sunday morning I was really exhausted, and slept in until 9:30. I had a semi-busy day ahead. I picked up Michelle and Dad, got gas and Starbucks, then dropped Dad off at my house. Then we headed on out to Livermore so my cousin Kim's son Joshua could get dedicated. Kinda like a baptism, only no water. The ceremony was for 10 kids total and was kinda boring. Then we hung out with Uncle Jim, Aunt Brenda, Terry, her husband Dave and their daughter Caden while Kim ran around everywhere. We had fun but my uncle talks A LOT. I also some funny pics too. I like seeing our relatives, even though all of us talk too much. Then Michelle and I went to Stoneridge. I got a shirt from Hot Topic and was bad and got a sundae at Haagen Dazs since I had a coupon. I'm awful. Then back to my house to get Dad and take him home, then I finally had time to relax and home, watch some Scrubs on DVD and take a nap for a few hours. And now I'm here. Yay.

hollywood is retarded, plus my weekend plans
- What's up folks? It's me, back again. Nothing too thrilling going on. Wednesday I didn't get to bed until way late. After I got off work I hit the gym, did the shopping at Walmart and Lucky, went back to my parents' house to sort out groceries, went by the bank to deposit a check, stopped by the dentist since I owed her money, then Walmart called and my glasses were finally ready. Then I got home and had to put away all the groceries, feed the cat, scoop his litterbox and start some laundry. I was exhausted. I woke up later that night and I was still tired, I hate it when that happens.
- Thursday wasn't too bad. I worked at my other job, then came home and put away laundry and ate dinner. Then I watched The Boys And Girls Guide To Getting Down. It was basically a mockumentary of hipsters who live in L.A. who do too many drugs and sleep around. What's kinda scary is that way too many people have the mentality that it's okay. Obviously the movie was a satire and over exaggerated things, but still kinda gives out the wrong message It's not okay to sleep with random people. It's not okay to get drunk, then smoke weed or snort coke on top of it. It's not really okay to get drunk. I haven't gotten "drunk" in about 6 years now. I have a few drinks on a Friday night or something, but that's it. I also keep my legs closed. I've had way too much temptation but I've been sex free for over 2 years and counting. I also can't dress like some wannabe fashionista, and I'm way too fat to get into a trendy party if I tried. The movie had some really funny parts, but still I don't like the message it was sending to the twentysomethings out there. Seriously.
- I found a quote online from Judge Reinhold, least it's on his website. He's an actor, and a Christian, and seems to be a pretty cool one. "Hollywood is the most socially skilled but relationally retarded city on earth." That pretty much surmises up most of the media and what it portrays, doesn't it? Any thoughts??
- After that I started watching Intensity, a movie based on a Dean Kootz novel. I only wanted to see it since John C. McGinley who plays Dr. Cox on Scrubs is the scary bad guy. I've only watched about 30 min of it so far, and it's scary. Hence why I almost never watch freaky violent movies. They give me weird dreams. Not funny weird, but scary weird.
- My weekend will hopefully be kinda laid back. I gotta work at Traffic.com in the afternoon, then home to relax and chill with Cathy. Saturday I got KDFC then the gym, then I want to go do housework and veg out at home. Sunday we're missing church again but my cousin's son's dedication is at some church in Livermore so I'll be attending that instead. Sorry Davina, between Lodi weekends and family stuff I haven't gone to church in like a month. I'm hoping to go a week from Sunday though. Yay.

i need me time
- What's up my homies? Nothing much here, really. Been working, taking my family places, and trying to get rest in between. Monday I worked in Emeryville, came home, ate dinner, watched The Story Of The Cross (good story but told in a very cheesy way by Judge Reinhold), came to work here. I actually had work here yesterday morning. A few probs overseas and stuff. Oh well.
- Yesterday after work I hit the gym, then got my oil changed. Then we picked up Dad and hit up Starbucks, where some schizophrenic lady was having a very loud conversation with herself. I shouldn't have found it funny but I did since she kept mentioning Sharon Stone, and Dad kept asking loudly "what the hell was wrong with her". Hey those were his words, not mine. Haha. After that we went to Worley's to pick up some pillboxes for Dad, least I think that's what we were there for. By that time I had been up about 19 hours and frankly didn't care, and napped in the car. Then I drove them home and went to bed. Later on I woke up, showered and took them to dinner at Applebee's in Alameda. Dad hadn't been there before, and fortunately he liked it. Then we browsed at Borders, I dropped them off, went home and relaxed for about 45 minutes and came to work.
- Today I'll be going to the gym again, then doing the weekly grocery run. I'm letting Michelle know that I am resting the rest of the day. No dinner outings, I need SLEEP. REST. PLEASE. I also let her know that Friday evening I'd like to relax at home with my other sister and watch Zoobilee Zoo. I love my family but I need "Lisa time" or my head will explode. I'm sure you guys understand.

lifetime movie overload
- And.. I'm back. My weekend was fun as always. Friday evening I worked at Traffic.com then went to dinner at Applebee's in Alameda with Michelle, and browsed at Borders for a bit. Then I took her to Emeryville to show her where I work. Later on I came home and hit the hay. I was tired as you can imagine.
- Saturday was my usual job in San Francisco, then off to Lodi for 80stastic fun with Kimmie. First order of business was watching No One Would Tell starring Fred Savage as a very possessive and abusive boyfriend of Candace Cameron's. He ends up killing her in the end, it's horrible. After that traumatic event we went for dinner at Rick's Pizza down the street. Very tasty. Then we stopped at the House of Coffee for dessert. I love iced mochas. We have some INTERESTING vlogs from this adventure, and when my computer is back in my possession and I'm actually awake enough to upload things, I'll edit it all together. After our little field trip, we went back home to watch Promised A Miracle starring Judge Reinhold and Rosanna Arquette. It was good, and sad because it's a true story. That Fred Savage movie was a true story too. It's crazy what people have the capacity to do. Then we watched the beginning of Darkness Before Dawn starring Merdith Baxter-Birney, the queen of Lifetime movies and Movies Of The Week. Haha. We ended up conking out halfway through it, but oh well.
- Sunday we woke up after about 9 hours of blissful sleep, made some coffee and finished the cinematic masterpiece of Darkness Before Dawn. Stephen Lang who played her also drug addicted husband (both of them had meth/heroin problems.. scary) had some jammin hair.. seriously. He looked like Kenny Loggins getting electrocuted. The most volumized hair/beard combo I've ever encountered. That movie ended and we took another field trip to A&W for lunch, where I took inappropriate pictures with the bear mascot. Then off to the 99 Cent store, where I found a 3 episode video of Zoobilee Zoo for 59 cents. Talk about a steal. When we got home I tortured her with Off Beat starring Judge Reinhold, Meg Tilly, and the bald principal from Back The To Future. Judge on rollerskates learning modern dance. Enough said. Then we watched one of my mother's faves, Not Without My Daughter starring Sally Field and Alfred Molina who portrays a major ass. That's putting it lightly. I'm glad Sally escaped. I saw this movie in 10th grade history class, and way too many times at home. Mom was a major Sally Field fan. It's a good story, and scary to see how women are treated in other countries. The movies we watched this weekend were just so full of drama, seriously. Last show of the night lightened things up a bit. I forced Kimmie to watch Judge Reinhold hosting Saturday Night Live with musical guests the 10,000 Maniacs. Boy that was interesting. All I can say really.
- I was late for work again. This happened last time I went to Kimmie's. Traffic in Tracy sucks. Instead of just having that one area of construction in the middle of Tracy, there's another construction zone right on the bottom of the Altamont Pass as you're leaving the city. By the time I got back to San Lorenzo to grab food I was almost out of gas so I had to fill up. Then I got to work and clocked in like 45 min late (thanks Caltrans.. ugh) and took Victoria home. That's about it. Oh yeah, we had Taco Bell for dinner. I had my food from the "Fresco" menu so it was supposed to be lower in fat. I guess. Oh well, I'm back to my healthy eating tomorrow anyway. Okay off to go through bulletins and surveys and maybe take a semi-nap. Yay.
- Catch phrases of the weekend. "Hi.. I'm Ted.. won't you sing with meeee?" "Welcome to Mandys N More, free adult diapers with every purchase." "Thanks cerebral palsy!!" "Oh my god it's a Jimmy Olson/Cheech Marin hybrid!" "Fitness Works (name of a gym there in town we passed).. not for us!!" "She looks like one of the Fly Girls from In Living Color.. seriously check the spandex."

im such a klutz
- Howdy doody!!! Me again, and as always thank God it's Friday. This week went by pretty quick. Let's see Wednesday was pretty uneventful. I didn't get in bed until about 1pm. Oh I finally got a hold of a human being at Gateway. Their software distributor had some sort of meltdown last week so all their orders are backed up. So.. I'm still waiting. *sigh* I did go to the gym on Wednesday morning, which is really rad.
- Thursday was pretty cool. Except that I broke my glasses. I am such a freaking klutz, it's horrible. Well Spencer's the one who knocked them off my nightstand and I'm the one who rolled out of bed after hitting the alarm and stepped on them. They're pretty bent up, and I still wear them for driving. That's about it. So I'm seriously squinting right now but those frames are embarrassing. I have an appointment with the optometrist at Walmart early this afternoon, so I can get my eyes examined and pick out new frames. I hate it when this happens. I'm glad my work reimburses me 80%. Whew.
- This weekend will be awesome beyond compare. Aside from the fact that I'm working this afternoon and Saturday morning, but no biggie. Oh plus the fact that I'm blind as a bat and my head hurts. I'll be going to Lodi for another 80stastic weekend. I have plenty of material to watch and so does Kimmie. Yay.
- Oh here's a video from my bday party last month that Amy posted. I'll be uploading some pics that Amy just added to her page in a bit. Some of em are hilarious, especially my butt shot.

Wow I got sleep today
- Word up homies! Me again just checking in, rocking out to Tears For Fears. Not too much excitement going on, since it's the middle of the week. Monday I worked both jobs, and ate/watched TV in between. Tuesday was pretty cool since I actually got a great workout at the gym, went home and mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors, then went to bed. I slept 9 hours. It was great. Then Michelle called and wanted to go out to eat, so we went to TGI Fridays. I was bad and had a chicken sandwich with both deep fried green beans and a house salad. I couldn't help myself, those green beans are awesome. Then I went home and watched some of Scrubs season 2 on DVD, then came here. Whoo excitement.
- Oh yes update on the computer. STILL waiting on the software. I tried calling Gateway yesterday but fell asleep while I was on hold and they hung up on me. I will make it a point to try to stay awake until a human being comes on the line when I call later today. Since today is gym/grocery day, I probably won't be in bed until noon. I will call Gateway while sitting up so I'll have less of a chance of passing out. Hahahaha. I don't know if some of you realize it but I spend most of my waking hours on weekdays either running errands, asleep or at work.. so not much time to spend on hold with some automated lady telling me to enter my serial number. I do need this software so I can get my freakin computer back, mostly because I have TONS of pics and videos to upload. Oh well, it'll happen eventually.

pretty cool weekend
- Hey there homie g funks! Another work week. *sigh* I'm only working like 60 hours this week, which is like 10 hours less than last week. Yay! My weekend was pretty cool, lemme tell ya all about it. Friday I worked from 12:30 to 8pm at Traffic.com, and watched a lot of Montel Williams. I could have gone out and partied, but I'm an old woman now. I opted for going home to watch Earth Girls Are Easy, have a Kahlua with milk and head on to bed. Not too thrilling, I told you.
- Saturday I did the KDFC gig, and I actually had to do a little work. Haha. Troubleshooting is fun, and one of my strong points. Then once I got back to the east bay I headed on over to the gym and did a massive one hour workout. 30 min of cardio, 30 min of conditioning. Mostly using the ab machine and doing arm work. My butt was hurting from jogging and my calves are already muscular enough. After sweating a gallon (or so it seemed), I went home to do housework, then took Dad and Michelle out to dinner. Red Robin again, it was tasty. Oh I was kinda bad. I bought a DVD/VCR combo for my room. The VCR that's built into my TV stopped working years ago, and my PS2 only works when it wants to. The combo was $76 with tax, so it could be worse I guess. Then I got 10% off on DVDs so I picked up Fast Times At Ridgemont High with the director/writer commentary, and The Muppets Take Manhattan. I know, I should save my money. *sigh* From now on I'm keeping a tighter reign on my dough, but it's rough. Least I have a place to watch my movies when TJ's watching Ocean's Thirteen or some crap like that. He gets irritated when he's trying to watch a movie, since I always include my own commentary, or ask 75,000 questions. I can't help it. You should watch movies with Kimmie and I. Now WE do commentary. Seriously. Anyway, after dinner and picking up my new toys at Circuit City, I went home and watched tons of movies, and didn't get in bed until like 1am.
- Sunday I had the privilege of taking my older sister to Kaiser, since she had a lovely UTI. Again. This stole an hour of precious time away from my busy life. Dad was with us, he was in a relatively good mood. The reason Dad came along is because after Kaiser we drove up to Sebastopol to put flowers on Mom's grave, and our other dead relatives too. It was fun. Okay not really, it was sad/emotional. I like saying it's fun because we always go for lunch afterwards. We chose McDonalds since they have shakes and Dad can actually drink shakes without choking. I was a BAD GIRL. I had a grilled chicken club sandwich and FRIES. No salt on them, but still they were FRIES. Not apple slices. Bad Lisa *slapping own wrist*. Afterwards we tried to check out the flea market they had down the road, but they were packing up for the day. Oh well, next time. I need to find out when the Gravenstein Apple Fair is. We went to that quite often as a kid. I can't wait. So I drove my folks home, and went back to my house to nap and watch more movies. I rested for a bit, then Leeanne invited me for pizza at La Val's in Oakland with her and some other friends. Tricia and Kevin came too. I had gourmet vegetarian pizza, it was tasty. Then we hung out at some bar down the street, where Leeanne and her friend Matt played Guitar Hero while Tricia and I talked radio. Fun times for all. Well now I'm at work blogging and killing time. I'm going to be SO tired by the time I get home in the morning.

i need help.. lol
- Happy 4th of July folks!! *Stars and Stripes Forever playing.. * Hooray for national holidays, and hooray for holiday pay. I'll be getting some for my shift over at Traffic.com this afternoon. Haha. I'm having weird emotional fluctuations today, I think it's my hormones. I'm either really happy, or really sad or pissed. It's great. I'm trying to stay on the happy end of it, for sure. I'm also really tired, but I may take a half nap later on. I'm only sleeping like 3 1/2 hours this morning in between jobs, but I don't have to work here tonight so at least I can get some sleep.
- Man I wish I had more exciting stuff to discuss. I work, sleep, eat, work, sleep more. I got paid yesterday and that rocked, I was happy. Let's see the only things I have of interest right now are random Judge Reinhold facts, mostly from the Beverly Hills Cop movies. He was on a health kick in 1992-1993 so when he filmed BHC III, he looked very orange from his excess carrot juice intake. If you've also seen the crappy movie Four Eyes and Six Guns, he's very orange in that as well. Most of his dialogue with Eddie Murphy is improvised because Eddie Murphy is.. well Eddie Murphy. He injured his back when John Ashton (his partner Taggert) jumped on him during a scene when they were scaling a wall in the first BHC. He finally got it fixed around 2001 or so when he started work with a personal trainer, so he kinda slouched for a few decades in case anyone cares. It took 12 hours to film the scene in the strip club in BHC II, from 5pm to 5am. During the filming of BHC III at Great America, it was often hard to find cast members, including himself and director John Landis, since they were on random rides like Top Gun at 2am. Oh and when he first moved to L.A. he worked at a frozen yogurt place. Hahaha. I need help.

monotonousness.. did I spell that right? haha.
- Waaaaaaaz uuuuuup??? Sorry I just wanted to get that out of my system. How are y'all doing? I'm hanging in there, working another 12 hour shift. I worked one yesterday too. It's not stressful or anything, but after a while I feel like a caged and bored animal. Myspace and Youtube can only be entertaining for so long. I think later on tonight I'll try some Myspace games, I see they have more to choose from. Maybe I'll play Literati on Yahoo, haven't done that in AGES. My score sucks, but oh well.
- No real excitement other than that to report. This morning I went grocery shopping with Michelle, oooh ahhh. Tomorrow I'm working at Traffic.com, coming home, making dinner, watching some TV and coming here. Same for Thursday. Friday I'm working a long shift at Traffic.com then getting off in time to go somewhere, not sure yet. I want to leave my 4th of July opportunities open, since everyone texts/calls me last minute for things. Last Friday night I got invited to go out with 3 different people doing various activities, but had already said "Yes" to Michelle. She was bummed since she wanted to take Dad out for the 4th, but I'm like "Dude, c'mon let me enjoy my holiday, I'm a workaholic and I'm off after 8pm. Chill out." I'm so nice.
- Also, in case ya'll didn't notice I had my sexy revamped pic as my default earlier. I liked it and I got several "ooh baby" comments on it. I wanted to see if I'd get compliments, and the ones I recieved were positive. I know it's kinda making me look like a ho or whatever, but once in a while I like to be reminded that I'm a hot babe, since guys don't tend to give me the time of day. Well my ex does. You know what I mean. I changed my default to a pic of me when I was about 8 or 9 trying to learn how to roller skate on Christmas Day. As you can see, it didn't go well. Haha. I was a funny kid, and I wish I could somehow transport myself back to 88 or 89, I miss those days.

even robots think I'm loud
- What's up homie G's? What's crack a lackin? I think that's what kids these days say, not completely sure. I had a pretty cool weekend. I actually got enough sleep for once, which is great because this week I'm working A LOT. Seriously. Let's see on Friday morning I went home and slept, got up, and worked at Traffic.com from 3-7pm. Then I took Michelle out to dinner at Applebees (although I was mad at her since I came to pick her up and she was still in her freakin nightgown...) and went home and rested. I finished Hostage Train by the way, that movie was total cheese, but I love it. Then I watched City Slickers and went to bed.
- On Saturday I worked at KDFC as usual, then hit the gym and worked it seriously for like an hour. I was hecka sweaty and my heart rate was up pretty high. It was awesome. Then I took Dad to get his prescription filled for his new glasses at Walmart, and picked myself up a new outfit while I was there. Later on at home I had a Gardenburger and broccoli for dinner, and watched Stripes with TJ and Cathy. Later on I put on Black Magic, another bad Judge Reinhold movie. By the way did I mention he's in Stripes? Hahaha. Anyway in Black Magic, he's going to some town in the south to find out what happened to his dead cousin who keeps haunting his dreams. His dead cousin is played by Anthony LaPaglia, that dude from Without A Trace with a rockin mullet. I don't know the witch lady's name and I'm too lazy to look it up on IMDB. So he falls in love with this chick and she curses him, but he can't find it in his heart to kill her. He ends up getting creamed when she sets her house on fire and second floor falls on him. Good lord. Not as bad as seeing him bite it by being pushed off a cliff by Crystal Bernard. Niiiiice. After this movie, Cathy and TJ came back out in the living room (they had been "hiding" in their room during this awful movie but they were probably doing you know what.. gross), and we watched The Simpsons Movie. Very good.
- On Sunday I took Michelle and my dad to the county fair. It was really fun. I had a greasy cheeseburger which gave me a tummyache later on, baked beans (haha), half of dad's chocolate milkshake, and half of a funnel cake. I love carnival food. We looked at all the exhibits, watched roller derby, pet lots of barnyard animals, and I met a talking robot who said I was very loud. It was a great experience. You'll see pics when I get the computer back. Any day on the software, Gateway. Thanks. Oh yeah, I watched behind the scenes featurettes for Beverly Hills Cop II and III and learned even more annoying facts about Judge Reinhold. Hahahaha! Thought I'd throw that out there.
- Oh yeah, way too much info for most of you, but I'm surfing the crimson tide, if you know what I mean. Yes it's back, with full force. Let's just say we have a new name for the couch now. ROTF

Tookie!
- What's up homie G's? Yay it's Friday! I love Fridays, seriously. Can you tell? I think it's because I have an insane work week. Yes I have to work 3-7pm at Traffic.com. Yes I work 8a-1p tomorrow at KDFC. Least I get tonight off from work. I sleep, yes precious sleep. Am I making much sense so far? I hope so.
- As usual, not too much going on. Wednesday I worked, ate, worked again, blah blah. Thursday morning I worked out at the gym, took Dad and Michelle to Walmart, Lucky, Starbucks and Petsmart. Didn't get in bed until like 1pm. I was up for 23 hours or so, really tired. Then I got up, ate some Vietnamese food TJ got for me, watched the end of Hostage Train (Judge was in his undies in one scene kicking this Russian dude's butt.. it was hot) and came to work. Here I am. I did like 2 1/2 hours of bible study, no joke. Only interrupted by three phone calls, two of them from Michelle who apparently doesn't sleep. Other was Davina, she's awesome.
- I plan on actually sleeping this weekend for once. Well I'll try. I'll also be spending A LOT of time with Michelle and my dad, and although that's kind of annoying, family does come first. I'm planning on taking dad to the fair on Sunday, that should be fun. Hopefully I'll have cool stuff to report on my blog late Sunday night/Monday morning.. whatever it is.

same ol crap
- What's up my homies? It's the middle of the week, and I'm beat. These 60-70 hour work weeks are insane, but they should slow down in a few weeks. I don't mind it though, once I get the paychecks I'll be happy. Nothing much has been going on the last few days, really.
- Both Monday and Tuesday I slept, got up, showered, ate, went to work, came home and ate dinner, watched bad Judge Reinhold movies and went to my fulltime job. I'm doing exactly the same thing today, too. Thursday morning I'll finally be able to hit the gym and do the weekly grocery run, and then I can catch up on sleep that afternoon/evening. Then I'm working Friday afternoon and I can catch up on rest Friday night.
- Oh god the bad movies I've watched the last few days are great. In Four Eyes and Six Guns Judge Reinhold plays an 1800s optometrist who moves to Tombstone to help Wyatt Earp see better. It's awful, but I love it. I also watched Baby On Board earlier, well 3/4 of it. Nothing says barf like watching Judge make out with Carol Kane. Can I get an amen? The little girl in it is cute and the gags are retarded, but so are most bad family films. I wouldn't call it much of a family film since there's lots of violence/shooting with mob folks running after Carol Kane (hahahaha) but it's got the cheese. Judge has long hair pulled back and a scary looking mustache going on, it's wonderful. Okay now I'm going to rock out to the Free Willy soundtrack (I love Michael Jackson) and try to stay awake.

My name is Judge..
- The Lisa is back, and you know she can never be wack.. the Lisa is back, cuz you know she's the Lisaaaaaaaa.. (that's from a Fat Boys song in case ya didn't know) I am all kinds of tired, but I had an awesome weekend. Friday was hotter than a you know what, and after I got off work at Traffic.com I took Michelle and Dad to dinner at Red Robin so he could get out of the house. Then I went home and watched Friends with Cathy and went to bed.
- Saturday morning I did my usual gig at KDFC. It was pretty cool, and we got a second coffee machine. This one does froofy drinks like mochas, french vanilla coffee, cappuccino and that kind of thing. I had a decaf mocha and it was tasty. Afterward I went back to the east bay, hit up Jamba Juice (the one at Bayfair is GHETTOTASTIC!), and headed off to Lodi.
- I had so much fun at Kimmie's house, as I usually do. When I first got there she had several presents to give me for my bday. That woman always overdoes it with the gifts, but I'm used to it by now. Haha. First of all her mom gave me the most random gifts ever. A plastic toy gun that shoots marshmallows, and Cheech and Chong's Greatest Hits on cassette. What is some old white lady doing with Cheech and Chong tapes? ROTF. Okay Kimmie gave me a buttload of stuff. In Living Color season 1, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Highway To Heaven Season 1 (cheesetastic!), Christopher Reeve's book, Christina Crawford's second book (sequel to Mommie Dearest), and Sybil (the novel, not Sally Field movie). I have plenty of stuff to watch and read now, for sure. First movie we watched was the Richard Donner cut of Superman II. See about halfway through filming of the second movie they changed directors to some other dude who totally rearranged the film to it's cheesy theatrical release. Well this is the version the original director had in mind. It was pretty good. Then we ate dinner, a nice homemade dinner Kimmie made from scratch, on the good dishes and silverware. She also had a pink rose in a vase on the table. This meant a lot to me because my mom loved pink roses. We had a great pot roast, mashed potatoes, yummy veggies and croissants. For dessert we had new york style cheesecake with chocolate gnash (ga-nosh) on the top. It was FANTASTIC. Yes Cathy I brought some home if you'd like to try it. The next movie we watched was No Place Like Home starring Judge Reinhold, Richard Moll, and a cast of unknowns who later did random crap on the WB. To me it seemed like a bad cross between Kyle XY and E.T. Judge seemed like he was pissed the whole movie and didn't even try to act, either that or his character was very manic depressive. It was so bad it was hilarious. After that we watched Teen Wolf, then Coming Unglued, another bad Judge Reinhold movie also starring Joely Fisher. These Lifetime movie kings/queens seem to stick together, don't they? Haha. The acting wasn't so bad in this one, but the cheesy family movie background music was getting to be a bit much after a while. Next up was Mannequin, a staple for any 80s good time. Meshach Taylor as a flaming gay guy and hotass Andrew McCarthy are a great combo for fun. While we played Mannequin we played the 80s Game, and I whooped ass two games in a row. Then Kimmie showed me her work so far on the "project", and we called it a night.
- On Sunday we ended up sleeping until almost 1pm, but we had gone to bed around 4am the night before. We started our day by ordering pizza and mozzarella sticks for brunch from Woodbridge Pizza and playing another round of the 80s Game while watching Stripes. Harold Ramis with an afro is hot. So is Judge Reinhold trying to smuggle drugs. Hey man, he was smokin hot in his mid 20s, mmmkay? After Stripes we decided to go for ice cream at Baskin Robbins (I had my free ice cream coupon.. haha). I had fudge brownie and Kimmie had pistachio. Yum. Then we had a random shopping spree at Walgreens. I found some $1 DVD with some TV movie of Ted Danson prosecuting a child molester. Now that's going to be interesting. I also picked up some makeup on sale, and some mugs you stick in the freezer to keep your drinks cold. Later on we got back to her place, and I went up to Subway to pick up dinner. I had a cold cut trio sandwich and apple slices, she had oven roasted chicken with Baked Lays. Then we watched 2 episodes of In Living Color (those Fly Girls with the biker shorts and push up bras are hilarious), and I had to skeedaddle outta there. I always have so much fun relaxing and having movie marathons.
- Here's some phrases for the weekend.. "Tookie Williams!" "Moses cums on fire?" "duuuurrrrr I'm Teri Hatcher!!!!" "My name is JUDGE!" "Sniff my bag of apple blossom goodies." "Zoom in on my flat titties. My bra came up ladies and gents. Yes Kevin I had a sexy party without you." and "Look I'm Lois, I'll jump out the window! Wait! I can't jump! SHIT!"
- Anyway, on the way back I got stuck in MAJOR traffic. I was in Tracy for over an hour. 205 was down to one lane due to construction and took forever to get through. Then I had to scramble home to go potty and grab a few things. I was about an hour late for work. I won't get in trouble, don't worry. I gave Victoria a ride home, and she gave me this huge cat condo that won't fit in her new apartment. Spencer's gonna love it. Well that's all for now. Boy I'm longwinded.

dude im old
- I am back from my lovely bday off and I loved it. Did I go crazy? Not exactly. Wednesday morning I went to the gym then did the usual grocery parade with Michelle and Dad. Later on that evening we went to dinner at Marie Callendar's and had ice cream at Coldstone since I had a coupon. I am a coupon fiend as you all know, especially in this economy. I had the rest of the night off from work (thanks to Brad at Family Radio and Paul at Traffic.com for rearranging schedules!!!!) so I used my time wisely by watching bad Judge Reinhold movies. I am such a weirdo. I have more bad Judge movies coming via the good ol Pony Express but they haven't arrived yet. Hopefully I'll get at least one of the four this afternoon so I can bring it on Saturday to Kimmie's. If not I'll bring Stripes and that bad UFO one, girlie.
- Thursday I slept in until about 11:30am and it was glorious. After barking at the Gateway people who need to send me restore CDs since mine are nowhere to be found, I ate yummy leftovers, picked up Michelle and went to the gym. Then I worked in Emeryville. Then I came home, said hi to Cathy's friend Amanda and made a bombass dinner. Then Cathy forced me to watch several episodes of Friends, and I watched a funny Dana Carvey special on HBO. Now I'm work and just read 6 chapters in 2 Kings. God telling people to massacre each other for varying reasons, folks being torn apart by dogs. Fun stuff.
- I should have a fun weekend since I'm kickin it with Kimmie. I'm bringing my camera, God only knows what kind of pics/footage I'll have by Sunday night. Haha.
- One more thing. Do you ever wonder if celebrities fart? I bet they do, but I wonder if they've ever ripped one at the Grammy's or anything? I bet the New Kids fart.. I should ask the New Kids On The Block about their gastrointestinal feats in October. Seriously. "Hey Joey Joe, do you toot on stage?" ROTF

go lisa, it's your birthday
- Go Lisa, it's your birthday, gonna party like it's your birthday, drink Kahlua like it's your birthday, you know we don't give a &*$% it's not your birthday.. well it is!!!! WOOOT. I'm excited, although most of my festivities have already taken place. I'm 28 years young now. I'm trying to stay in a positive frame of mind even though this is my first bday without my mom. So much has changed over the past year, it's insane. I live in a different house, drive a different car, have a different cat, one less parent. I am so blessed to have great friends like you guys, seriously. I'm also blessed enough to have 3 jobs, and a very weird sense of humor. I'm blessed in so many ways.
- FYI.. I won't be online tonight, I got the night off from all my gigs. I'm going to dinner with my folks and then I will have a nice well rested evening at home catching up on Scrubs DVDs. I think I deserve it. Okay I'll probably make my grocery list and go take a semi-nap here at work. You know.. sleeping but not really sleeping. One last thing before I leave..

"My name is JUDGE!"
Anyone seen that episode of Arrested Development? ROTF

woot there it is
- What's up homies? It's almost my bday.. yay I'm old. Like all early Monday morning posts, I'll start this out with "I had an awesome weekend." I did.. really. I mean it wasn't monumentally mindblowing, but it was fun. Friday morning I got my car washed/detailed at Hutch's and went to breakfast with Michelle at Mimi's. I had some yummy breakfast burritos. Then we went to Bally and got Michelle all signed up, and renewed my membership. I was a little too exhausted (having been up about 20 hours and all) to work out at that point, so I went home and slept. I got up around 5:30pm that afternoon, with Cathy and Stuart screaming "Happy Birthday!!" in my face and nearly causing a coronary. I then had one of those situations where a small get together turns into a full fledged party. We ordered pizza, Amy came with her pal David (not Magical David, it was Heart Transplant David), Alisha showed up, then Fernando and Grace came with Joey. Joey is 15 months old and loves chasing cats and helping people unwrap presents. Around 9ish TJ went to bed because he's 28 going on 75. Fernando and Grace left around 10:30, then Jeff showed up. Everyone else seemed to leave around 11pm. The party wasn't over though. Davina got off work around 12:30am, and she and Lorie came around 1. We partied until 3am, and I got 3 hours of sleep. I got great gifts from everyone, including A LOT of lip balm from Cathy and Amy. Hmm I wonder why. Got some cash, AMEX gift card, Best Buy gift card, Jamba Juice gift card, some Doritos (haha), a porcelain Kermit the Frog figurine, Bert and Ernie action figures, Mad Libs, bubbles, and a stuffed Gizmo doll (from Gremlins). So yeah I made out like a bandit.
- Saturday morning I woke up and had a slight hangover. I partied a lot the night before, as you can read above. Good thing I've been taking a Vitamin B supplement, that helped speed up my metabolism and get the poison out of my system. You guys know I don't party that often anyway, really. I worked at KDFC as usual and had fun like I always do. When I got back to San Leandro I hit the gym and worked it, y'all. I was jogging again, and it felt great. Then I went home and did major housecleaning, took a nap and Davina and I went to Claimjumper for supper. Man I love that place. Had some garlic bread, whiskey chicken dinner and we shared a brownie finale for dessert. I tried to pay but she wouldn't let me, so I decided to give the cute waiter a good tip. After going home for a potty break, we went to Target. I got all three Beverly Hills Cop movies on DVD. Davina almost got a bike but decided not to at the last minute. We ended up going back to my house and watching Beverly Hills Cop III. Excellent choice. She left and I started watching Gremlins but got tired about 20 min into it and called it a night.
- Sunday morning I woke up and took a shower, picked up Michelle and went to church. It was a good sermon, mostly telling dudes to step up and take care of their families, a good Father's Day theme. Too bad most guys out there don't have this mentality anymore. After church Michelle and I hit the gym and worked it again. Cathy showed up and I wished I had my camera on me. All three sisters on treadmills pumping up the jam, it was awesome. If only Mom could have seen us. When I was done sweating my booty off we picked up Dad and went to Best Buy. He bought me seasons 1 and 2 of Scrubs, and I used a giftcard to get a few 80s CDs, along with The Offspring and P.O.D. For Father's Day I gave him a copy of The Sands Of Iwo Jima starring John Wayne, one of his favorites. Then we had a late lunch at In-And-Out Burger. So healthy, I know. Haha. Afterwards I went home and took a LONG nap, came to work and the rest is history.
- I apologize to anyone who didn't come to my "party" on Friday night. I didn't intend for it to be a real party, but my sister invited people, I invited a person or two.. food came, booze poured, and yeah.. it happened. My schedule is pretty insane for the next week or two, but we should all hang out sometime. I'm addressing folks I haven't talked to in forever, you know who you are.

pre-bday weekend
- Hey there homies. Thank god it's Friday! Whooo. The last few days of course haven't been monumental. Wednesday morning Michelle and I worked out, and got in contact with someone to set her up with a membership. We're going back this morning to get the paperwork done and stuff. Yes believe it or not I was jogging on the treadmill again. I'll try doing that again this morning, too. Yesterday I worked at Traffic.com, my usual gig. I'm working there A LOT next week. I'm insane, yes I know. When I see the check, I won't be disappointed I'll tell you that.
- This weekend I don't have too much going on, really. Trying to keep things low key. After work this morning I'm picking up Michelle and getting my car washed/detailed. It needs it, trust me. Then we're doing breakfast at Mimi's Cafe since I have a $10 off coupon for my birthday. Take it from me, sign up for every single restaurant's E-club, and you get plenty of discounts. After a yummy meal, we're gonna go sweat it off at the gym and get our accounts set up. This evening I may have a couple people over for pizza, drinks, whatever. Cathy made me a cake from scratch. I didn't make a giant deal this year since I've been kinda melancholy about the whole thing. First birthday without my mom, it's hard. She's with me in spirit, for sure.
- Saturday I've got the KDFC gig, then hitting the gym. Later on in the evening Davina and I have a heterosexual date for dinner at Claimjumper. Haha. If you wanna cheat and eat lots of giant portions of fattening food, that's the place to do it at.
- Sunday is church, and Dad wants to take me to Best Buy so he can buy me some DVDs for my bday. He can't go crazy like Mom used to do when she took me shopping, but he still wants to get me something. He means well. Of course he didn't even know that my birthday is next week until Michelle told him. I'm not offended, because even when he still had his marbles he never remembered any of our birthdays or how old we were anyway. I asked him how old he thought I was and he said 22. This was a few days ago. Haha.
- Well, I'm gonna go half doze and rock out to Huey Lewis and The News. Adios, mis amigos!

she must be somebody's baby
- What's up, my peeps? Not much here. I always say that but then once my brain starts flowing I write about 3-4 paragraphs. Oh well. Let's see what's been going on? I worked Monday night at Traffic.com. That was fun. Then I worked here later on. I had a really bad tummyache and barfed for the first time in over a year. No I didn't eat any tomatoes.
- Then yesterday I slept, got up and took my dad's dog to the vet to get his shots, went home and fell back asleep. It was very enjoyable, I needed the rest. I woke up around 6:30pm, took a shower, made dinner, and watched a few movies. It was an enjoyable evening. First Cathy had put on Son In Law, and I got bored about 3/4 of the way through it. Then I realized the cable was out and TJ had mentioned it was out most of the day. I called Comcast and was on the phone with them for about 30 minutes. They concluded that my cable box is defective, and a dude is coming by this afternoon to replace it and make sure all is well in digital cable land. I was still bored afterward so I put on Fast Times At Ridgemont High. I almost wrote Ridgemont Thigh. ROTF. Anyway, y'all know I have a fat crush on Judge Reinhold especially when he's playing Brad Hamilton and he's got a cute butt while washing his car. I need to get this on DVD Special Edition so I can pause and get some nice screencaps. I only have it on VHS. Sad I know. After the movie I grabbed food for work and came here. Exciting.
- This morning after work I'm picking up Michelle, we're going to Bally and I'm getting a new membership for myself and her. Mine lapsed over a month ago and I need to get back in my workout routine. Michelle needs to go desperately, and Mom was always encouraging her to lose weight so this should help. If I take her to the gym, she will go. After exercising we're doing the weekly Walmart/Lucky run, which is also thrilling. Then home to wait for the cable guy and sleep. That's about it, folks.

some like it hot and some burn when the heat is on
- I'm baaaack. Yeah it's only been 3 days since my last blog update, but oh well. I'm in a really good mood. Not sure why. Maybe it's because I'm working 55 hours this week instead of 63 like last week or 70 a few weeks back. Could also be the pretty fun weekend I just had, despite the extreme lack of sleep on Friday/Saturday.
- Let's see on Friday evening I went to dinner with Michelle at Marie Callender again. I seem to be addicted to their cornbread. Oh well. I worked later on that evening here as a favor for Yuriy. I spent a good deal of my shift half asleep, and watching My Girl. Saturday I went to Live 105's BFD with Davina, Cathy, Amy, and Mikey. It was pretty fun. Fun yet exhausting. I was running on about 2 hours of sleep, still had bronchitis and it was pretty hot. I did a lot of dancing and got a fake panda tattoo on my neck from some creepy guy who kept caressing my hair and tried to bite me. Video will be uploaded soon. Oh wait duh.. don't know if I mentioned it but my computer is at Best Buy being fixed.. it does have spyware issues and a virus, so I'll get it back in a week or two. I could have just had the hard drive wiped but I have pictures of my mom on there and stuff, so I'd rather have them take their time restoring it. Getting back to the BFD subject, it was tons of fun. We left pretty early, around 6pm due to exhaustion and Davina's bad reaction to her nachos. I'm sure she's stoked that I'm sharing her potty adventures. We went to In-And-Out after that for dinner (yes I'm bad), got gas in Menlo Park and headed home. I collapsed into bed around 8pm after doing random housework first.
- Sunday morning I opted not to go to church so I could get more rest. I slept about 12 hours total. I finally roused myself out of bed, did some dishes and mopped some floors. Then I took a shower, picked up Michelle, and bought my new bike at Target. It's a Tony Hawk "ANGRY" model. I'm not an angry person, but it was the coolest bike there. I need to adjust the seat then I can ride it. I'm excited. We watched TV for a few hours, then I took Michelle and Dad to Red Robin for dinner. Dad paid. Thank god. I'm not exactly broke anymore, but I just paid LOTS of bills, bought NKOTB tickets and a new bike. So yeah, trying to watch the fundage. That's my weekend in a nutshell, folks. I hope the rest of my week goes pretty smooth and I pray that I'll get enough sleep.
- P.S. Manny I'm praying for you. I know you're going through a very rough time and I don't want you to ever think I still don't care about you. :-)

YAAAAAAAY
- What's goin on, my peeps? Not much here. Well not much thrilling anyway. I've been working my tooshy off, and I finally got enough sleep yesterday. Eight hours of glorious rest, I loved it. I should get enough sleep today, when I get to. I'm going to breakfast with Leeanne after work, going walking with Michelle, then taking her and Dad to get medical supplies for him, and I need to drop off my computer at the Geek Squad there in Union City. I gotta work tonight, I'm filling in for Yuriy the weekend guy which is kind of a bummer, but I volunteered for it before I got my third job and was stretched for money. Oh well, 8 hours of OT will be coming my way soon. Saturday I'm going to BFD with Davina, Cathy and Amy. I'll be running on almost no sleep, but I don't work that night so I'll be alright. At the worst I'll ask Davina to drive on the way home.
- Oh yeah in case I didn't mention, Kimmie and I, along with her sister Carol and our pal Cara, are going 5 star VIP to see New Kids On The Block on October 10th when they play in San Jose. I'm so excited and still amazed that I was able to get the passes before they sold out. Yes I'm pretty much paying up the wazoo, but to be able to tell folks what Donnie Wahlberg smells like is well worth it. Yeah I'm that weird.
- Oh and I keep having this reoccuring dream that a young Judge Reinhold is a teacher at my high school (and I'm back in the 90s again apparently), and I keep flunking tests and skipping homework just so I can stay after class and get "help". I have a VERY overactive imagination, don't you think? That and I just changed my desktop here at work to a hot picture of Don Johnson circa 1986. Oooh baby.
Whooo I'm gonna MEET THE NEW KIDS!!! Rick Astley is hot too, Corey Haim, and Kirk.. oooh la la!

Whoo he was hot from Fast Times to Beverly Hills Cop III.... then he got old. He's still awesome, but not as hot. Hey in 10 years I'll be not so hot either.

oh the joy
- What's goin on, homie G's? Not much here. Work, work and more work. I'm getting about 6 hours of sleep a day, so I'm not exactly exhausted. I agreed to work another shift this afternoon as a favor for my boss in Emeryville, and it's more money for me. I will definitely get decent sleep on Thursday.. well I hope. Thursday morning we're doing the grocery run, getting crap from a medical supply store in Hayward, and after I put all that away I'm gonna drop off my computer at Best Buy for the Geek Squad to debug, etc. I know several of you will go "What's wrong with the computer? Maybe I can help." Well um my internet connection is fine according to Comcast, but my computer won't recognize that. Also, I tried reinstalling Windows XP, and it asked for my admin password. I never created a password. So um yeah I think I have a virus. For the past day or so the computer has been off and will remain so until I can get it to a computer physician.. i.e. the Geek Squad. I'd rather pay a few hundred to fix it versus buying a new computer. With all this being said, maybe on Friday I'll get enough sleep. *sigh*
- Oh yeah, other small bundles of stress. Can't buy VIP tix for NKOTB until today at 7pm. Fortunately I'll be at work and online, so don't worry Kimmie. I'm crossing my fingers. Regular tix go on sale at Ticketmaster for general public on the 9th. Oh and I never got my BFD tix in the mail, but I straightened it out with Ticketmaster, my tix will be at will call at The Shoreline on Saturday to pick up. Good lord I got so much crap on my plate.
- Oh one more fun thing. I have yet another sinus infection. Had the sore throat yesterday morning, woke up in the afternoon with lots of yellow snot pouring everywhere. I've been feverish all day (since I woke up at 1:30pm yesterday) and I've had nice headaches. I only get headaches when my sinuses act up. My last doctor said I have chronic sinusitis because my sinus cavaties are very small. He's probably right. Anywhoo, all I can do is try to get enough sleep and pray for the best.
- I do enough complaining lately, don't I? LOL

back on the grind
- What's crackin my homies? I'm back from my weekend. It was nice and relaxing, thank god. Friday afternoon I worked at Traffic.com, then went to dinner at Marie Callender's with my dad and Michelle. It was really yummy. Afterwards, I went home and watched Back To The Future with Cathy and TJ.
- Saturday I worked my normal shift at KDFC, then took Michelle and Dad to the Cherry Festival there in San Leandro. It was fun just walking around and visiting various booths. The overpriced funnel cake was okay too. Then I stopped by Target to pick up new earphones, since the ones I had only worked in one ear, and homey don't play that. Next stop was Barnes and Noble, where everyone browsed for about half an hour, and Dad picked up a few new Tom Clancy novels. Then we drove down to Claimjumper, where I had made reservations. The food there is always awesome, although it's crowded/noisy. Dad didn't like all the commotion around him, but he loved his mashed potatoes and ice cream sundae. I had a turkey burger with salad and some garlic bread. I think Michelle had chicken and noodles. Then I went home and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, a little TV, and went to bed around 11.
- Sunday morning I woke up, picked up Michelle, and went to church. The message was about tithing, not my favorite topic but I sat through it anyway. Afterwards Michelle, Davina and I decided to go for lunch at Sweet Tomatoes in Pleasanton. Similar to Fresh Choice only much better. Man it was yummy. Then we went to Stoneridge Mall and walked around shopping for an hour or so. I got a new shirt and wristband at Hot Topic (used the last of that giftcard, Amy) and a shake at Haagen-Dazs. Oh man that was good. Then I went home and took a LONG nap, and here I am. Yay.
- This week my schedule is busy, but not as bad as last week. 58 hours, not 70. I'm working an extra shift here Friday night, I volunteered for it long before I got hired at the third gig. I'll be TIRED for BFD on Saturday, but oh well. Speaking of BFD, I don't think I've gotten my tix yet. I doubt I threw them away. If I don't see them by Wednesday, then I'm worrying. Oh yes, and I'm trying to get VIP tix for NKOTB this morning, gotta set my alarm clock for that. I fear I'm not getting much sleep the next few days. Oh well, what can I do?
