- What's up, yo? It's yo homie G Lisa checkin for ya. My weekend was cool. Friday I worked at Traffic, then came home and relaxed for the rest of my evening. It was very enjoyable, and well deserved.
- Saturday I worked in San Fran, then picked up Michelle and went to the Dollar Store. They have great Halloween stuff there and I wanted to check it out. While I was there Fernando called and we met him at the new In-and-Out on Lewelling/Hesperian there in San Lorenzo. I love yummy no salt added cheeseburgers and fries with no salt. Yeah I try to watch my sodium, can you tell? So after that I could have gone on a walk to the duck pond with Fern, Grace and Joey but Michelle needed to buy stuff for Dad's bday this week. So we opted on going to Newpark Mall to do some shopping instead. I'm very proud to announce that I didn't buy a lot of crap. Just a card for Dad's bday, a few Xmas gifts for people and more Halloween stuff. I like Halloween. Haha. Later on I just went home and relaxed, watched TV/movies and went to sleep around midnight.
- Sunday I woke up around 10:30am (yes I got over 10 hours of sleep, I never get to sleep in!). I made myself some organic pancakes with sugarfree syrup, took a shower and made myself go to the gym. That was my only chance to hit the gym all week, so I took it. (By the way, is it me or is it uncomfortable when nearly naked strangers of the same sex give you a compliment? In the locker room some chick in a towel told me I smelled great. LMAO) This week is going to be a doozy, schedule-wise. Then I picked up Michelle and Dad and we headed over to Porky's Pizza for a surprise bday party for my cousin Kim. It was pretty fun and the pizza was yummy. The cake was good but the frosting was WAY sweet. I prefer whipped cream frosting myself. Still tasty though. So then I took the gang to Starbucks, dropped them off at home and finally got home myself. Then I made dinner then watched Alice In Wonderland and Taking Lives with Cathy. The classic Disney cartoon was pretty cool, but the second movie just wasn't my thing. I'm not into serial killers, car chases and violence. Not much anyway. I mean Ethan Hawke is hot but c'mon now. So after that was the series premiere of Easy Money on the CW. I only watched this since my 80s movie boyfriend Judge Reinhold is in it. Minor part, but still cute. Overall the show is okay. I might even watch it if he wasn't in it. So yeah, and now I'm at work, trying to keep my eyes open.
- So like I mentioned before, this week is going to be even crazier than normal. Today I'm working at Traffic and here, Tuesday is Traffic, grocery shopping and here, Wednesday morning Dad has an appointment at the DMV to renew his license or ID or whatever then I have to work at Traffic in the afternoon, and work here later that evening (Even though I tried to get someone to cover for me and of course no one could so I'll be way sleep deprived on Thursday). Thursday morning Cathy's giving me a ride to Milbrae to pick up the van from Wheelchair Express for Kimmie, then I'm driving from there to Lodi to pick up her and her sister Carol. Then Carol is driving us to Sonora to visit their aunt/uncle. Then we're driving all the way from there to San Jose (2 1/2 hrs) since we're spending two nights there for the New Kids concert as a mini-vacation. By the time we get to our hotel, if I don't get some kind of nap my head will explode. Not pretty. Friday we're pretty much loitering around the downtown San Jose area, and then we are doing the whole backstage meet/greet thing a few hours before the concert, then the concert itself, then back to the hotel for our own afterparty. Booze and 80s board games! Saturday I'll take them on a tour of my neck of the woods, then a little shopping, then back to Lodi they go. Then I gotta return the van to Milbrae early in the evening. Also, Saturday is Dad's bday so I have to go pick him up and take him to my house for cake and presents. So yeah, my week is BUSY.
- Okay, I'll blog one more time before the trip. I think I'll take a half snooze until about 5amish. Hee hee.

Everybody's workin for the weekend..
- Howdy doody folks. I'm so glad it's the weekend already. I'm bushed. I haven't gotten much sleep, like that's a shocker. Not a whole lot going on. Let's see Wednesday morning I went walking to the duck pond, did some housework, then had a dentist appointment. I got my teeth cleaned and got 2 new toothbrushes, one with smiley faces. Yay. They're kid brushes, because my mouth is uber small. It's so funny when I come in Dr. Nguyen's office because she automatically busts out the children sized dental instruments. It's cute. Anyway after that I went home and got a decent amount of sleep, woke up, downloaded some music, and came to work.
- Thursday I hit the gym with Michelle then it was grocery day. I love buying groceries but it seems to take forever when Dad comes along. It's kinda like taking a 3 year old everywhere. He always has to pee and complains every 5 minutes, it's great. Anyway after that we got coffee, I dropped them off and then I went home and put everything away and went to bed. I only slept about 5 hours then went to La Pinata for a Super Famoso Burrito with Michelle. I ate about half of mine, I'm saving the rest for breakfast tomorrow. Yum.
- The weekend should be nice and chill. I'm working at Traffic in the afternoon, then hopefully relaxing in the evening. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be relaxing as well, we'll see. Next week is gonna be CRAZY in every sense of the word, so I'd like a break beforehand.

- What's up, homie G's? I'm back. Not like I've been gone anywhere. Haha. The last few days have been pretty routine. Monday I worked at Traffic, then went to Texas Roadhouse with Michelle for dinner. Then home to grab food for work and grab Spencer, and on to work. Yes, Spencer came to work with me. My boss said last week that I could bring him in, so I did. He was pretty well behaved. Except when I brought him into the admin office right before leaving and he was accosted by Lynn and 3 other women. He leaped free from the carrier and ran around meowing and hiding under office furniture for 5 minutes. I finally had to quickly grab him and shove him back in the cat carrier against his will. Anyway, it was fun.
- Tuesday my schedule was pretty much the same. Worked in the afternoon, came home and reinstalled more stuff on my computer, watched TV and came to work here. Exciting I know.
- Today I think I'm going to go home and do housework, do A LOT of walking around the neighborhood for exercise, eat some breakfast and go to the dentist. I have an appointment for a cleaning at 10am, so I might as well do stuff beforehand. That way I can be at home and in bed by like 11am. (The hygienist is pretty quick and it's about 2o minutes away using city streets, which make more sense geographically.. anyway.)
- Alas, today is one of those days where I feel like a giant porker. I haven't had the time to exercise like I used to due to my insane schedule, but I'm trying. Oy Vey. I came across this site called Big Fat Deal.
- It's pretty awesome to see people accepting themselves as they are, but still celebrating and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Feels like I'm not alone, you know. It's like all those chicks on the CW are borderline anorexic, plus it seems like the majority of dudes like skinny girls since the media feeds them the lie that that's what sexy is. I'm more than curvaceous, I'm like an NFL linebacker, you know. I'm not like "HOLY CRAP!" but somedays I feel like a float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Does this make any sense?

i heart macgyver's mullet
- Catch me I'm falling.. catch me now I'm faaaaallin *doing cabbage patch*. Hey folks, it's Fridaaaay. Yes! I'm a little chipper for 12:30am, I admit. Oh in case you still read my blog Noelle, Happy Birthday to You. I didn't forget. We aren't really talking right now, but I never forget birthdays. Well let's say I rarely forget. Okay about half of the time. But I didn't.
- Anywhoo, while I'm rocking out to 80s dance music, let me continue this brief blog. Wednesday was grocery day, then I got about 6 hours of sleep and had to come here for a 12 hour shift. It's weird that 12 hour shifts are so grueling, I think it's the boredom. I worked 12 hours today but it was split into 2 different shifts at two different places of employment. So it didn't seem so bad. Oh by the way, my computer is back. It's in working order, but I somehow misplaced my power cord and looked all over the place for it, so I have to pick up a new one later today. Yay! I also picked up new speakers since mine are pretty bootsy and make an annoying static like sound. So over the weekend I'll get stuff back in place, reinstall some programs and such. Yay!
- So yeah that's what most of my weekend is consisting of, rest and getting the computer back on track. Well this morning I'm actually hitting the gym for the first time this week, probably going to breakfast with Michelle, picking up the power cord and taking their dog Happy to the vet. Oh yeah and TJ's aunt is staying over for part of the weekend, so Cathy was actually cleaning. Yes I was shocked as well. Hahaha. So that's it. Maybe I can actually get 8 hours of sleep one of these nights. One can only hope.
- Oh yeah, congrats to Sandi, she landed a new gig. I knew you could do it, woman. Okay now I'll continue rocking out to Wang Chung and such. Later!!

she's a modern womaaaaaan!
- Dude, do you know that this is my 400th post on my Blogspot? I always write my blogs on that page first and then copy/paste to Myspace. I've been blogging steadily a little over 2 years now. Looking back at older posts brings a lot of feelings to the surface. Some entries were pretty funny, and others were plain depressing. Oh well. Such is life.
- Not much exciting stuff going on. Monday I woke up about half an hour earlier than usual because I set my alarm clock wrong, and I was cranky all day. Guess 30 min of sleep does make a difference. All I did on Monday was work, come home and watch TV/eat dinner, and work again. Then I took a big snooze at work here. Well a semi-snooze where I wake every time some alarm goes off, my body timing is great. I was so exhausted.
- Tuesday was more of the same thing. Worked at Traffic, took Dad/Michelle to Applebees, then to my house for like 30 min to watch Animal Planet, then to their house. Then I went to work here. I was a little late, but Dad decided he had to pee right when we were leaving so we had to take an extra 10 min to get him to the potty and back. *sigh* Anyway yeah that's how life has been lately.
- Today is grocery day, and then I work 12 hours tonight. 7pm-7am. That means no gym today, so maybe I can squeeze in 6-7 hours of sleep. Thursday I'm working two jobs, and Friday morning we're taking Happy (dad's dog) to the vet for a check up. I'll be glad when Friday is here so I can get more rest. Also Friday morning I'm forcing myself to hit the gym, since I haven't gone all week.
- So how are you guys doing? I'm so boring just talking about myself all day. Tell me about your life in comments or something. Okay, I'm rocking out to Billy Joel's "Modern Woman" from the Ruthless People soundtrack. Later. ROTF

laid back weekend
- Word up homies. I am back. In full effect. Word. Oh I already said that. Anyway yeah, my weekend did not go as planned. I spent a good portion of it home asleep. I backed out on the retreat so the headache/backache/nausea could subside on its own. It did, a day later. Well my back has still been hurting off and on for the last day or so, but oh well. It was awesome to actually be able to get some sleep for once and enjoy my cable TV, so there was a plus side to all this.
- I was feeling halfway normal by Sunday morning so I took Michelle and my dad to Sebastopol to see Mom at the cemetery. It felt good to stop by and visit. Dad had fun looking at cows and deer on the way up there. On the way back we stopped at A&W in San Rafael and had unhealthy food for lunch. Greasy food in my already bloated body, it was awesome. My weekend wasn't as exciting as I planned it, but I think it worked out for the best.
- This week should be cool. I'm working 64 hours, which is great on the pocketbook. The holidays are coming up, so I need to start buying presents and such. Yay!! I love me some extra shifts @ Traffic and overtime here. Woot!!

if you don't like PMS rants, don't read
- Hey there folks, happy Friday! My Friday is not so happy. Today is Bloated Friday. Yesterday and today I've had the worst PMS symptoms since last year when I was in the ER doubled over. I spent most of Wednesday night and all day Thursday sleeping in the fetal position, popping Tylenol and waking up to go on ice cream and pancake binges. Not so good for my diet, but yeah my cravings have been balancing themselves out with nausea, so I deal with what I get. I'm still leaving to go on the retreat this afternoon, but I'm just dealing with the pain as much as I can. I may go pick up more ibuprofen on the way home at Walgreens, and see if that helps. I tried to get tonight off but I knew it wasn't going to fly. Last month I took a sick day and it turned into all kinds of confusion with my coworkers, and I didn't need a repeat. Not like I do much here at work anyway, I'll spend the rest of my shift half dozing in my chair with my feet up.
- Hopefully by my next blog I'll have a great report from my retreat, and I'll have felt much better. I hope to be more recovered in the next 12 hours or so. I get the feeling that some people think I exaggerate, but every 3-4 months I get my period BAD. I mean "OH MY GOD" kinda bad. Back hurts, I gain like 10-15 lbs, uterus feels like I'm carrying some alien spawn, legs hurt, ankles swell up, and I balance between wanting to throw up and wanting to eat everything in sight. Some lucky ladies only get these symptoms when they're pregnant, I get them now. Imagine if I did get pregnant, I'd have to wear a warning light on my head or something for people around me. I'd do some damage. LOL. Also, my hormones are about as predictable as Lindsey Lohan's love life, so my period comes when it darn well feels like it.
- Okay enough period rant. Wish me luck on my little trip. I don't really know anyone there but Sandi, and it's on a lake and I hate being in water but I'm sure I'll have fun anyway. Toodles!

I'm wiped out.
- What's up my homies? Not too much going on. I am SO tired right now. I don't know why, but I'm just wiped out. I got 6 hours of sleep today, and 6 the day before. Maybe I need more than that. I should get 8 hours of sleep this afternoon, hopefully. Anyway Monday was pretty normal. I worked at Traffic, went to Mimi's Cafe with Michelle then came to work here. Tuesday I worked at Traffic again, came home and made dinner, watched some TV and came here. Big wow, huh? This morning I should hopefully muster up enough energy to hit the gym then do the weekly grocery run with Michelle and Dad. Then off to sleepytown. That's about it, not much to blog on. I think I'll take a semi-nap in a few. Ugh.

Bustin makes me feel good
- What's up my peeps? I'm back from my lovely weekend. A little tired since I've been up since like 8:30am yesterday and it's like 1:30am.. okay yeah that's only 18 hours. I had a tiring day though. Also I'm not going to bed until like 7:30am, that's a 23 hour day. I may take one of my infamous semi-naps here at work in a bit, I desperately need one. Anyway getting back to my weekend details. Friday morning I slept about 3 hours, then got up and took Michelle and Dad to Costco for extras we wanted to stock up on. I didn't get home and back in bed until like 2:30pm, and planned on resting the rest of the weekend. At first Michelle tried to coheres me into taking her to the mall but I was exhausted and I'd been taking her and Dad everywhere all week. So I was sleeping, but Fernando, Grace and Joey stopped by to invite me to go for ice cream. I found this out by waking up with Fernando in my room dancing around like a giant nerd and literally pulling me out of bed. So we went for dinner/dessert at the Ice Creamery in Castro Valley, and then looked at Halloween costumes at the Halloween Superstore. I got the best costume ever! You'll see! Little Joey is going to be a chicken, and Fern is deciding between a pimp and being John Travolta's character from Saturday Night Fever. Haha. After this we went back to their house, drank margaritas and watched fart videos on Youtube. That was my Friday.
- Saturday I worked at KDFC as usual, then I made a few stops before I headed out to Lodi. I had to go home and grab a few things that I forgot and changed, then I stopped by in Pleasanton to pick something up from Sandi. I got to Lodi by 4pm where we first watched Fatal Attraction. Wow Glenn Close is one crazyass biotch. Seriously. Not only is she scary in general, but she's nuts for boffing Michael Douglas. Ewwww. So after this I drove to Stockton and picked up our very unhealthy dinner from Sonic, but stopped for a salad at Del Taco. Hey man, gotta eat semi-healthy. Then once I got back I tortured Kimmie with three programs from Insight, this cheesy afterschool special type programming made in the late 70s/early 80s sponsored by The Catholic Church. One of the episodes was A Step Too Slow starring Judge Reinhold and the dad from Teen Wolf. ROTF. The singing at the end was awesome. Then Kimmie put on a 2 hour NKOTB concert. It was at the height of their career, right before things started going downhill. This video got both of us excited since we'll be meeting them backstage at their concert in less than a month. YAY!!! After this I put on a short documentary about the making of Beverly Hills Cop III where Judge explains why he was so orange (he drank a lot of carrot juice), then we both hit the hay. It was a long day.
- Sunday we woke up around 8:30am, ate some Lucky Charms, drank some coffee, I ate a leftover corn dog, and watched Mad TV while Kimmie got ready for the Grape Festival. During this fun time her mom came over and gave me some microwave brownie thing. Oh boy. So we headed on over to the Grape Festival, and had a blast. I got my dad a few bday presents, ate roasted corn on the cob, a hamburger, chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone, and drank 2 large diet cokes. We took several pics with the Bimbo Bear (you know, the company that sells Mexican bakery products and gives out LOTS of samples?) and with Zippy The Clown. It was awesome. Oh yeah, and we saw some guy that looked like Elvis and this guy selling souvenirs started singing the Greatest American Hero song when he saw my shirt but got shy when I turned on my camera. Haha. So around mid afternoon we went back to Kimmie's place and watched A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story starring Meredith Baxter and Stephen Collins (Reverend Camden from 7th Heaven.. hahaha). She's some crazy jealous wife who goes insane when her husband divorces her. He was kind of a jerk, but there's no excuse for what this broad did. She ended up murdering him at the end. There's a second part to the movie series but I can't handle 4 hours of Meredith Baxter unless it's a Family Ties marathon, sorry. After this we ordered pizza and salad for dinner from Pizza World (we had a coupon), and watched National Lampoon's Holiday Reunion starring Judge Reinhold (of course) , Bryan Cranston (from Malcolm In The Middle) and Penelope Ann Miller. It was pretty hilarious. By the time that movie ended it was like 8:45pm so we had to make a few hilarious videos, take crazy pictures, and call it a night. Then I drove home and grabbed stuff for work, and here I am listening to George Michael's "I Want Your Sex" from the Beverly Hills Cop II soundtrack. I'm random.
- Here's a few random quotes from the weekend. "Why do all psycho people have sterile white apartments? That's some scary shit.".. "That lady used way too much Formula V05 or something." "Oh get the fuck out.... oh no I can not!" (that was from BHC III.. lol).... "Do you think that guy's fully aware he looks like Elvis?".. "Gee, that sweater's not gay.".. "Is it me or did all us white trash people have tapestries on our walls back in the 80s? We had a moose in our living room." "Well we had one of the last supper in the kitchen, it was tasteful." ROTF.. "I think Ray's funny but I have NO attraction to fat Dan Aykroyd.".. "Who ya gonna call, bitch?" Okay that's all I can remember for now, Kimmie add more quotes as you remember them. We're WEIRD.

sleepy mcsleeperson
- Hey there homie Gs. Not too much going on the last few days. Wednesday morning I hit the gym with Michelle, then did the usual grocery trip with Dad, did housework and went to bed. We didn't buy as much stuff as usual since we're going to Costco this morning to stock up on water, paper towels, meat, cheese, milk, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, all that fun stuff. Anyway I did get a decent amount of sleep for once. Thursday I got about 6 hours of sleep. We had an appointment with the lawyer in the afternoon and it went pretty well. Least he isn't a jerk, that's a plus. When I got back later in the afternoon I should have gone back to sleep but I ended up watching TV and making dinner with Cathy, then eating dinner, then watching even more TV. Now I'm sitting here tired at work and wishing I had taken another nap. Oh well. It's my last work day of the week so I'm cool.
- This weekend should be pretty fun since I'll be spending most of Saturday/Sunday in Lodi. Not only are we watching cheesy 80s flicks, but we're also going to the Grape Festival. Yay for corn dogs! I'll try to take some interesting pics. Hahaha. Now I'm gonna go and make a small shopping list, do some Myspace surveys, maybe take a half nap. I love naps.

loading more pics on Myspace
- Howdy doody. I'm back. Not too much craziness going on right now. Monday morning I got off work a little early and ran by Walgreens to burn my pictures from my memory cards to CDs. Then I went home and slept, got up and went to work at Traffic. I picked up the CDs on the way home, ate dinner and came to work.
- Tuesday morning here at work I spent most of my time organizing/editing pictures that I had downloaded onto the computer here. That took a while since a good portion of them were sideways and had to be corrected. I uploaded my first 100 and I have a way to go. Later on I'm going to sort what I uploaded into albums and add as many as possible. After I make my grocery list of course. The rest of my day was pretty normal. I slept, got up, went to work at Traffic, then I took Dad and Michelle to Red Robin for dinner. Hey I got a free meal out of it, and since Dad helps me with groceries I don't mind burning gas at all. Then a brief stop over by my house, and now here I am. I sure am tired. I kind of have reason to be due to my schedule and hormones. Yay.
- Hey did you know Halloween falls on a Friday this year? I think I'll throw a fat party or something along that line. I need to brainstorm with Cathy and TJ. Whoo Hoooo.

fun with family/friends
- What's up folks? I'm back from the weekend, back to the same old grind. I actually had a ton of fun the last few days. Let's see on Friday morning first Michelle and I went to Walmart so I could order some pics to be developed and put my pictures on CDs so I could finally upload them to the computer here at work (which I will be doing shortly so you will see A LOT of new pics soon). Then to the post office to mail bills, then we both did a good workout at the gym. On the way home we were stopping at Starbucks when Davina called. We met up at my parents' house and all went out to breakfast at JD's in Castro Valley. Yum. Then we made a very spontaneous trip to Stoneridge Mall and I eventually got back home and in bed by about 2:30pm. Meanwhile Fernando had texted while we were shopping and told me about a BBQ that evening, so of course I wanted to go. So I got about 3 hours of sleep, then I got up, picked up Michelle and headed over to Fernando's house. Now that was so fun. Tony came, Michael, Irma, her son Ian and his friend Brent (neither of whom I've seen in like 4 years since we went camping), and Fernando's pal Nate. Davina showed up later on after lots of coaxing from myself and Fernando. Haha. We ate food and everyone was drinking. Michelle even had 3 margaritas, and she was feeling great. So was I. I have some great pictures and video. I think my favorites are of Fernando rollerskating in his living room. It's been so long since I've seen all of my boys, freak danced with them like old times, and just had fun. Highlight of my weekend.
- Saturday morning I worked at KDFC as usual. Then I got back to the east bay, got my pictures from Walmart, picked up sandwiches at TOGO for TJ, Cathy and myself, then ice cream at Coldstone. I was surprised when I arrived at home that Amy had come over! I hadn't seen her in like forever. Later on we went to run some errands over in the manor (buy booze/munchies @ Porters Market) and passed by my uncle's house, and my cousin Kim was out there with her husband Bob and their son Joshua, so I stopped to visit and say hi. I love catching up on stuff with family. We all need to hang out more often. So eventually we made it back to our house and had a great time with a few drinks and watching movies/TV. I tortured everyone with a lot of Scrubs and we watched some 80s stuff too. I didn't get in bed until about 1am.
- Sunday morning I should have gone to church. I admit it. I was tired, I had partied too much and not gotten enough rest. So I slept in until about 11am. It was wonderful. I finally got my lazy booty out of bed, ate breakfast, did a little housework and took a nice walk to the duck pond, all the way around the park and back home again. After that I relaxed and watched TV for a few hours, then took Michelle/Dad out for dinner. Now Dad has a problem swallowing things as some of you know, so he really can only eat soup, ice cream, milkshakes, stuff like that. He even chokes on mashed potatoes. Our dining choices are limited. I decided to take them to Sonic all the way out in Tracy since they have awesome shakes there. Their food is awesome. Totally bad for you, but awesome. Then we visited West Valley Mall right across the street. Mom would have loved it, they have a carousel. Mom always told me whenever I went to an amusement park that I needed to ride the carousel. It's a sentimental thing. So anyway, I had a great weekend, full of fun with friends/family. Yay!!

I finally got sleep, and joined Facebook.
- Hey there homie Gs! I'm back. Well it's only been a few days since I blogged but you know what I mean. Not too much going on. Tuesday I worked at Traffic, came home, ate dinner, watched TV, and came back to work. Oh boy. Wednesday morning I should have gone to the gym but I was way tired. I decided to start our grocery shopping early, and I was home and unpacking by 11am. It took a while because we seemed to be running out of everything this week. Diet soda, laundry detergent, cat litter, etc. So I did that, started laundry, cleaned the litterbox and went to bed. I slept 8 glorious hours, and got up and took a shower. Then I made some scrambled Eggbeaters with sauteed onions and broccoli for dinner, and watched some TV. I wish I would have checked my mail sooner, then I could have watched this Afterschool Special I bought starring Judge Reinhold and the dad from Teen Wolf called A Step Too Slow. I'll definitely watch it this morning before I go to bed. Hahaha, it should be great.
- Not much planned for the next few days or the weekend. I need a break from all the craziness so I can catch up on sleep, housework and movies. I need peace and quiet. Oh yeah, I joined Facebook so you guys can shut up about how I should join, blah blah. It's not that exciting so far, and kinda confusing. I did find some friends and stuff. It seems more like it's networking and not so much fun. Oh well.

I love L.A.
- Howdy doody. I'm back from my little 3 day vacation to Southern California. I'm way tired, but I had a blast. Friday morning I left for Stockton right after work. I stopped for gas in Tracy, but eventually I got to Stockton. Then we grabbed Sonic for breakfast and headed on down. I got a few hours of sleep, which I really did need. Sandi did all the driving, by the way. I woke up around Bakersfield and pretty much stayed awake the rest of the trip. There was traffic in L.A., but what else is new? No matter what time of day or night it is, the L.A. freeways are busy. We finally arrived in Orange around 3pm. Sandi gave me a tour of Chapman University, where she went to college. After the nice tour and exercise, we went to an international street fair right down the street. They had food from several different countries. We had some type of pastry balls dipped in honey from Greece, but I can't remember the name of them. Next we hit up Downtown Disney. It was Labor Day weekend and neither of us felt like shelling out $80 to go wait in 3 hour lines for rides inside Disneyland itself, so we figured we could at least do some shopping and have fun. I bought way too many souvenirs and enjoyed watching the fireworks show from Disneyland, it was awesome. Instead of staying in a hotel, Sandi's friends from college, Jen and Julie were letting us stay there for a few days. We went back to their place in Santa Ana and I slept in the recliner. That was the end of Day 1.
- We woke up pretty early on Day 2, and I had a Charlie Horse in my left calf from sleeping with my feet elevated for so many hours. Other than that I felt great. This was the day we were going to visit Hollywood. Well for half the day anyway. First stop was Riverside Drive, where the defunct University Medical Center is located. This is where they film Scrubs. We weren't able to get through the gate thanks to the lovely security dude, but I took some pics and a cool video featuring some sweaty guy with man boobs. I was like way too excited to be anywhere near where they film Scrubs since it's my favorite show. Well besides Sesame Street. Oh yeah, big shout out to Manley, he plays Snoop Dogg Attending (I always want to say Snoop Dogg Intern) on the show and he added me this morning, probably because I commented on Zach Braff's page. Either way, holla! Okay I'm digressing. So after I drug poor Sandi through my Sacred Heart Hospital worship session, we went on over to Hollywood Boulevard. It's fun, but parts of it are ghetto. Yes, for those who aren't aware, there are even crappy parts of Hollywood. We stuck around the mall at Hollywood and Highland and took great pics of the Hollywood sign. Oh yeah, before we even parked we randomly drove through the hills for about half an hour trying to find a closer view of the sign. It was fun but the hills were steep and the streets were narrow. So we hung out at that mall, and it was pretty hot and muggy. Sandi dared me to run through the water fountain, so I did. Haha. We had lunch at Johnny Rocket's, then took pics with random folks in costume out in front of Grauman's Theater. I took a pic with Elmo of course, Jack Sparrow from Pirates of The Carribean and that creepy dude from Scream that walked up and put his knife to my throat randomly. Haha. Then we walked further down the street and checked out all the souvenir shops and had a lot of fun. We still had extra time on our hands so we drove down Sunset Boulevard and ended up in Bel Air or Beverly Hills, one of them fancy neighborhoods. Then we drove up Laurel Canyon to Muholland Drive and checked out the awesome view of Los Angeles from the Hollywood Hills. It was breathtaking. Soon after that we headed back to Santa Ana to have a girls night with Sandi's college friends. It was pretty cool. We watched the first season of The Office, ate spaghetti and salad for dinner and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for dessert. We were watching some taped episode of So You Think You Can Dance or whatever it's called and I started falling asleep. See when I fall asleep, its embarrassing. I don't just nod off like everyone else. The second I'm out, I snore like a chainsaw. A few times in college I was sitting in class, and the next thing I knew I woke up with drool on my notebook and people staring at me. Again, I'm digressing. So soon after we headed for bed, and that's how Day 2 ended.
- Day 3 was our last day. Well obviously. We had to get up at the buttcrack of dawn, and of course I took a while in the bathroom. Then after we packed and said our goodbyes to Jen and Julie and got to my car, I realized I left my camera battery charger in their living room and had to go back. Then we got Taco Bell for breakfast but I talked Sandi into taking me to McDonalds for iced coffee. So you can say we had kind of a late start thanks go me. Whoops. Anyway, we made it to San Diego at little before 10am, and spent some time shopping by the water. They have some cute stores. Then we went on a tour of the U.S.S. Midway, and that was really neat. We got to see where they slept, ate, went potty, where the prisoners went, all kinds of stuff. I liked the half naked mannequin in the shower. Oooh baby. I wish we would have had more time there, there was a lot we didn't get to see. Oh well. Then we had to go get ready for Sandi's stepsister's wedding. This was the original reason Sandi came down this weekend. We ended up changing our clothes at a Wendy's then doing our makeup in the car. Well I did my makeup and Sandi watched. I really don't think I'm the one you should get makeup tips from, dear. I am no pro. Anyway, after that we went to the ceremony in a very nice church. The reception was at some clubhouse that was on military property. I enjoyed myself there even though I was really bored the last hour or two. I liked the appetizers and the dinner. I loved my cake. I even found some of the random dancing amusing. After a while, I was tired. I still had a fun time, even if I was wearing a dress. We left the reception at almost 10pm, and began our trek home. We got to Orange about an hour after that and got gas, then got chicken to go at Dennys and changed our clothes there. Then I got a giant iced coffee, and we hit the road for the long stretch. I made it all the way to Fresno without falling asleep while Sandi took a nap. Once we got to Fresno we pulled over at a gas station so I could pee and we could switch places. I snoozed for about an hour and soon enough we were in Stockton, at Sandi's house. After our goodbyes I headed for the drive-thru Starbucks so I could get something to tide me over on the ride home. I was home a little after 6am, and got right in bed.
- Okay well that's my story. Not much else going on. We got a new couch, one of TJ's friend's moms gave it to us. It's very comfy. Today I get to work both jobs, and I'm exhausted. Can't wait to go home in an hour and hit the hay. See y'all on the flip side.

I feel much better now
- Yay I'm back and yay it's almost the weekend. The last few days have been a little interesting. Wednesday morning a few hours after I wrote my last blog, my stomach randomly decided to start hurting and I puked several times here at work. I think it was the pot roast at Marie Callender that did me in. My boss let me leave at 5:30, and if I wasn't feeling so crappy I would have taken the opportunity to hit the gym. I was still nauseated but I had to take my sister and Dad shopping since I was booked the rest of the week. So I took a nap in my car in front of their house for about an hour. Then I puked out my door onto the street, and then proceeded to take them to Walmart/Lucky/Waste Management?Starbucks. After about 5 Rolaids and a vanilla bean frappucino (nice and creamy), my stomach felt better. We had to stop at Waste Management (ACI.. Alameda County Industry??.. something like that) since my family needed to order a dumpster. Don't ask, very long story. While I was there, I called my work (Family Radio) to let them know I was still feeling crappy and to see if I could get someone to cover my shift that night. Miraculously, Brad texted me that afternoon to tell me I was covered. I technically wasn't feeling as sick as I was that morning, but I appreciated the sick day (or night, rather) so I could get some rest. I spent Wednesday evening doing laundry and relaxing in front of the TV. I think I fell asleep around 1am.
- I woke up today around 9amish, had some breakfast, did most of my packing for this weekend, and folded my laundry. Then I took another nap until about noon. The way my schedule is, I sleep as much as possible when given the chance. Then I took a shower and hit the gym. I felt so proud of myself. It was hotter than a mutha so I decided to treat myself to a sugarfree iced vanilla latte from Maui Wowie, which was right across the parking lot. Then I worked at Traffic from 3-7pm. Then I was taking Michelle to Starbucks when Brad called and asked if I could come in here early at like 9pm. I can't resist overtime so of course I said yes. So I had barely enough time to get my stuff together and make dinner, then come on over to work.
- I'm so excited about my L.A. trip this weekend. Last year around this time Sandi and I had plans for a trip to SoCal but I was in the emergency room with killer cramps and low blood pressure so I had to cancel. I'm so glad I got over my tummy issues before this trip. I've never been to San Diego before so this will be awesome. I'm working a lot today so I hope Sandi likes driving, because I'll be trying to snooze the whole way down. Haha. Oh I also bought another memory card since my other two were full. I am ready to go, yo. Only 7 1/2 more hrs to go, and I'm outta here!! WOOT WOOT!!

back to the old grind
- Howdy folks. Me again. It's the middle of the week. Only a few days till my 3 day mini-vacation in Southern California. I think I need it. I need as much fun time off as possible. Who doesn't? Haha. The last few days have been pretty normal, nothing too weird. Let's see on Monday I took Dad to the opthamologist. Well Michelle took him inside I just slept in my car the whole time. Then I drove them home and went to bed. I woke up 4 hours later, got ready and worked at Traffic. Then I came home, did housework, made dinner, relaxed and watched TV. Then I came to work here.
- Tuesday I woke up at 1:30pm, got ready, ate some Cheerios and went to work at Traffic. Then Michelle called me because my Dad kept whining about wanting to get out of the house, so I took them to dinner at Marie Callender. Well Dad paid, but I drove them there. Then we stopped by my house for a bit so I wouldn't have to double back from their house before work. We watched Animal Police on Animal Planet, then I dropped them off before coming to work here. So I sleep, work, rest and work some more. Sense a pattern?
- Today is grocery day. I'll hit the gym with Michelle after work first, then do the whole Walmart/Lucky/Starbucks thing, go put away groceries, start some laundry, and get in bed by like 1pm. I think I'll take a half snooze here at work again in a bit, it's one of my 24 days. Well, only 2 days till good ol L.A./Anaheim/San Diego! Yay!

i hate pretzel nazis
- Hey there folks. Me again. I just got sour cream on my new CSI shirt, haha. Thought I'd share that with ya. My weekend was pretty chill, for the most part anyway. Friday I worked at Traffic, then came home and relaxed with Cathy and TJ. I watched TV for a few hours, then went to sleep.
- I woke up and worked in San Fran on Saturday morning as usual. Then when I got back to San Leandro, I picked up Michelle and we went to Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. It was really overcrowded since all the little size zero teenage girls were back to school shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch, etc. I was hot and tired, and I decided I wanted a pretzel from Auntie Anne's. I waited in line for 10 minutes, and then discovered I didn't have enough cash for my order and pulled out my ATM card. The lady at the counter was like "Cash only!" in a snooty tone. There was no sign anywhere that said "Cash Only". I took about 20 seconds to run to Michelle for a dollar and run back, then the lady said "Sorry, back of line." There were like 20 people there. I was MAD. As many of you know I always keep my cool in public, I rarely have an outburst. Well I finally had one. I told the lady to kiss my fat white ass and stormed off, loudly talking to Michelle about the 13 year olds dressing like sluts and yuppies all over the place. Was this a Christian thing to do? Um no. It's funny now that I look back on it, but dude that pretzel nazi got me mad. Later at home I cooled off a bit, then Fernando called so I met him and Joey at the Duck Pond. We got pizza at Pizza Hut and went back to his house. I got to give Joey a bath, it was fun. Later on in the evening I went home and watched more TV, and went to bed.
- Sunday morning I was supposed to go to church. I overslept. I felt bad but I guess my body was extra tired. Then I went and had lunch at Horatio's with Mike P, my old pal from KCRH and Family Radio who was in town. That place is nice, and lunch is nowhere as expensive as dinner is. It was fun catching up on each others' lives and stuff. After lunch I got my car detailed/waxed at Hutch's, then went home and took a nap for a few hours. In the evening Michelle and I went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Pleasanton, stopped by Starbucks near my house, then home so I could nap and she could watch TV. Then I dropped her off at home, stopped by Davina's house to pick up some copies of pictures, and now I'm at work. Yay.
- I don't know how much rest I'll be getting today. Dad has an optometrist appointment at 8am, and I'm going to snooze in the car. Then after I drop them off I get to go home and sleep about 4 1/2 hrs, then get up for work. How fun. Oh by the way Davina gave me a CD with some pictures from Vegas, I'll be uploading them in a few. Once I get the comp back I'll have a TON of pics to put up.

Vegas Blog part 2
- What's up, homies? It's me, I'm back again. Here at work in San Fran playing lovely classical stuff. Okay now where were we? Oh it was on Monday and we went to see Tournament Of The Kings at Excalibur. It came with dinner that we ate with our hands, just like at Medeival Times in Southern California. The best part about the show were the sexy young jousters. We sat in the Ireland section, and Mr. Ireland there was pretty HOT. I should have taken a picture. Haha. We seriously saved a lot of money by going to Tix 4 Tonight. There's 3 or 4 locations there in Vegas, and it's well worth waiting in line. Anyway after watching the sexy jousting, we took the Monorail over to the Sahara and walked to the Stratosphere. We had a little over an hour before our show so we went up on the Stratosphere tower. Boy what a view, man. We got our picture taken, and it looks hilarious. Once I get the computer back and scan it in, you'll laugh your socks off. After our lovely tour we went to see Bite!. Now what was amusing was we didn't realize it was a topless show. ROTF. So yeah, we had our share of both women's and men's depravity.. hahaha. It was very entertaining though, I wouldn't reccomend it for prude people. Lots of singing, provocative acrobatics, dancing. Least there was a cool rock soundtrack to it. Note: Davina picked it since she thought it would be some random show about vampires, she loves them. She had no idea it was a semi-naked show. I'm still laughing. Haha. By the time that show was over, we were exhausted. I had been up since Sunday morning, and Davina didn't sleep much on Sunday night since she was so excited. The second we got in the hotel room, we both crashed and were asleep in minutes.
- Okay now for Day 2. Can you believe all that happened in Day 1? Crazy. So we woke up, got ready, and headed on out for another long day of adventuring. First thing we did was hit up Tix 4 Tonight again, so we could get good prices on shows. Our picks for the day were The Fab Four (awesome Beatles cover band) at Planet Hollywood and The Chippendales at The Rio. After scooping up our tix, we checked out the M&Ms store nearby, where I snagged some candy (I'm bad) and a few souveneirs. Then we took the Monorail to the Paris Hotel, and checked that out before heading to Planet Hollywood. Another note: If you've never been to Vegas you may not realize it takes at least 30 minutes to successfully get through a hotel from one end to the other. Not only because each hotel is the size of a giant shopping mall, but also because there are a lot of slow moving old folks near the slot machines. Always plan ahead if you have a show to get to. LOL. So we took plenty of pics in the Paris Hotel because the inside of it looks like the cobblestone streets of Paris. We also went up on the Eiffel Tower on top of the hotel and took pictures. Great view. Then we finally made our way to Planet Hollywood. We had gotten discount coupons for this great restaurant called Pampas Churrascaria. It's kinda like an upscale buffet. They bring all kinds of meat to your table for you to try, and they have an all you can eat salad bar. The food selection there is really unique, I've never eating much South American cuisine but it was all tasty. Lots of fruit. After our satisfying lunch, we walked around the whole Miracle Mile mall and then went to the box office to get our Fab Four tix. We paid $15 more and upgraded to VIP and get tickets a lot closer to the stage. The show was great and worth the money. We would have stayed and taken pics with them but we had to get a taxi to The Rio so we could get our Chippendales tix in time. Taxis do cost a lot and I don't reccomend them in Vegas unless you really need to be somewhere in a hurry. So we arrived at the Rio and got our tix, and had a pretzel at Auntie Anne's to tide us over until after the show. By the way the whole time we were in this hotel I kept singing that Duran Duran song... "Her name is Rio and she dances 'cross the sand.. ". So yeah the Chippendales were HOT! Their show made my life complete. I can die a happy woman. I liked it when they only had a towel on their you know whats and were humping the stage. WHEW. Calm down, Lisa. After the show we took pics with them. Man that was exciting. WHOO BABY. Believe me once you see them, you'll understand. After that life changing event, we took a shuttle back to Caesar's Palace to check that out. Afterward we checked out The Mirage and The Flamingo. The Mirage has a great show with fountains synchcronizing sprays of water with music. We were stuck watching the Titanic song which I hate with a passion but it was awesome anyway. There is also a beautiful atrium garden thing inside the hotel. My mom would have loved it. All kinds of rare plants and stuff. The Flamingo was cool since they have a real flamingo sanctuary. It smelled kinda funky, so we took pics and left right away. We also walked through Bally to see if they had anything fun. It was just your run of the mill hotel and casino. We took the Monorail from there back to the MGM, stopped at McDonalds for some late dining, and went to bed. As you can imagine we were tired after all that walking and excitement.
- Okay Day 3, last day of the trip. We packed up all our stuff and checked it in for the hotel to hold onto it until we were ready to catch our shuttle back to the airport that evening. We had breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe there at the MGM. I had a yummy breakfast pizza. That place is awesome. There's one in San Francisco near Fisherman's Wharf but I've never been there. Next time I go there I'll check it out. Then we caught The Deuce (double decker city bus that goes downtown) to Fremont Street. Our bus driver looked just like Eazy-E, and I took a pic with him when we were getting off. He thought we were hilarious. Fremont Street is cool, but is probably more magical at night during the light display. We went in the early afternoon and took pics of the old hotels like Glitter Gulch. I also had Dunkin Donuts for the first time. An iced coffee and a blueberry muffin. I just heard there's a Dunkin in Pinole or some obscure place here in the Bay Area. I was not aware of that. Oh well. It was pretty good, we need to get one nearby. There are too many Starbucks everywhere. Oh yeah, we made this video where they put our heads on some dancing cartoon bodies and we lip synch to music. Davina's going to make a copy for me. It's great. So we headed on back to the Strip, and checked out The Venetian. We were going to go on a gondola ride, but they were only doing the outdoor ones and it was WAY too hot. We walked around the shopping area which catered to the very rich tourists. Stores like Tiffany & Co, Giorgio Armani, stuff like that. Then we checked out the wax museum, it's awesome. It's interactive so you can actually hug the statues, lay on the bed with Hugh Heffner, get interviewed by Oprah, stuff like that. Davina and I took some great pics. After the wax museum we headed on back to the hotel and got our bags, and waited for our shuttle. Then waited longer, and longer. We had a voucher for a particular bus but after waiting 30 minutes we paid another $6 to ride another shuttle to the airport. So like I mentioned in part 1, a voucher isn't worth it, shuttles are never on time. We made it to the airport over an hour before our scheduled flight so we were okay. I had a whopper jr with cheese meal with apple slices and water for dinner there before we got on the plane. The flight only took like an hour. Before we knew it, we were back in Oakland again.
- A few observations during the trip that I didn't discuss. There are perverts everywhere, man. First of all, what's up with the ancient old fogies and the 18 year old girls? Either the men are rich or the girls are prostitutes, or maybe both. So sad. Also, we were eating lunch at this food court thing next to the M&Ms store on Day 1, and this old guy sits next to Davina reading his paper. Then she leaves to get an iced tea and he sits there humming to himself and playing pocket pool (you know, grabbing his crotch). I got the heck outta there, man. What a freak. Oh and all along the strip these Mexican dudes hand out hundreds of cards to guys for call girls. There are prostitute ads everywhere. Las Vegas sure is the sex capital of the U.S., man. I mean Davina and I saw some freaky shows and male strippers, but we just look, we don't touch. Freakazoids, geez.

Vegas part 1
- I'm baaaaack!! Yup I am back in good old Oakland, California, literally trying to stay awake. My boss will be here in the next 15 min or so and I really need a nap. I have the strong feeling I won't finish the blog this morning, and may have to do it tomorrow when I'm at KDFC and fully conscious. I could have blogged earlier but I was on the phone with Davina for like 2 1/2 hrs and squeezed in some bible study.
- Okay so Monday morning after work I sped on over to my parents' house so Davina's dad could pick me up and take both of us to the airport. I checked my bag and we got through security in plenty of time, and I had a muffin and an iced coffee at Starbucks for breakfast. We finally boarded our plane and we were on our way. On a side note I do love Southwest, I can see why you love it so much, Sandi. The fares are much cheaper and they don't charge you to check your bags like other airlines are now doing. Our flight took a little over an hour, that was it. After we landed and I got my luggage off the baggage claim, we were able to check in at the MGM Grand from there at the airport and get a shuttle to the hotel. Another side note, it saves time and money to not buy a round trip voucher for the trip back to the airport. I'll explain that later on in the blog.. probably in part 2. It'll make more sense then. So we got to the hotel and WOW it was huge. Must have been a few blocks long, it seemed like. We arrived at our room in the West Wing and it was snazzy. There was a freakin phone on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom. A flat screen TV built into the mirror in the bathroom. I took a shower since I'd been up for like 24 hours by then and I was feeling kinda funky. After that we hit the strip, and found a place called Tix 4 Tonight that sold really good tickets for shows are reduced prices. We got our tix for Tournament Of Kings at Excalibur and Bite! at the Stratosphere. Then we did a lot more walking and explored The Luxor, The Mirage, and hung out at Excalibur before the show. Davina and I played air hockey, and she schooled me. It was pathetic. Okay I'll finish this blog tomorrow.. I'm almost ready to go home and hit the hay.
To be continued..

Yaaay
- What's up brothas and sistas? I'm EXCITED! I'm leaving for Vegas in a matter of hours. I'm sitting here wolfing down my chef salad, drinking my cherry coke zero and trying to figure out when I'll be sleeping. I should take a nap soon. In fact I may just finish half this blog and then snooze, and come back to it. My boss isn't coming in today, he's covering for me the next 3 nights. That means I can half doze most of my shift. Yay!
- Okay so Friday afternoon I worked at Traffic, and then that evening I went on some last minute errands with Michelle. We went to Bath and Body Works (didn't need anything from there but we had a coupon), and besides my two body washes I also got a travel size body spray for my trip. Then we hit up Payless Shoe Source and I got a cute pair of dressy sandals/shoes for the club for like $20. Last on our trip was Target so I could get sunscreen, more socks and disposable wipes. Later I went home and did lots of packing, then Cathy gave me a pedicure.
- Saturday I did my usual thing at KDFC in the city, then went out to Lodi to kick it with Kimmie for 80s greatness. Let's see where do I begin? First thing we watched was the first episode of the third season of Wonder Woman guest starring Leif Garrett called "My Teenage Idol Is Missing". He was hot for a teen. Whoo. As we were watching that, Cathy and TJ showed up and hung out with us for a few hours. I think we tortured them with "When The Bough Breaks", a bad TV movie starring Ted Danson and that dude that played Veda's uncle in My Girl. It was pretty cheesy, but hey it was 1986. After that was the New Kids with their Step By Step video. Cathy and TJ left right after the beginning of Boltneck starring Matthew Lawrence, Judge Reinhold and Shelly Duvall. Too bad, they missed out on my movie boyfriend sucking face with Shelly Duvall. LMAO When Boltneck was over Kimmie put me through two episodes of the Golden Girls, and another episode of Wonder Woman entitled Amazon Hot Wax which I throughly enjoyed. Who can't enjoy Judge Reinhold's first TV role ever as Jeff, one half of a scary singing duo with horrible matching 70stastic outfits? If my computer were back and I had time I'd show you a pic, it was wonderful. He always plays such retards/dorks with flair and confidence. Oh I forgot, we had McDonalds for dinner (mcnuggets kids meal with apple slices) and chocolate creme pie for dessert which Cathy made.
- Sunday we got up around 9am or so. I took a shower, and we ate leftover pie and coffee for breakfast. Bad, I know. I tortured Kimmie with Four Eyes and Six Guns, another Judge flick, he was dorky and cute in that one. I love how the swanky guitar riff lets the viewer know that trouble is lurking nearby. It's in every TV show/movie I've seen, practically. Anyway.. after that we were picked up by Dial A Ride which we refer to as Dial A Crap, and had lunch at Lyons with Kimmie's mom. What an experience. Her mom means well, I guess. She's just weird, but lots of older folks are. She gave me a sleepytime Ernie doll thing, so that was unexpected and nice. So we finally get back to Kimmie's house and watch one of our favorites, Legend Of Billie Jean. Really great movie, and Yeardley Smith looks so freaking young, it's crazy. I then tortured Kimmie with one last film, Baby On Board starring Judge and Carol Kane. He had long hair and a creepy moustache so he kind of looked like a child predator. Poor guy. By that time I had to leave since I had to pack and do last minute things at home before work. Traffic in Tracy wasn't as bad, there was a slight delay but nothing longer than 10 minutes.
- Oh yes, I did take a slight snooze while writing this. For a few hours. Well I half dozed anyway. I'm so excited about my trip and it's hard to sleep while I'm so energized. I'll take a ton of pictures, I promise. YAAAAAAY!!
