Straight up rockin in Rocklin

I had a pretty cool weekend, well at least it was a weekend for me. Thursday I slept until about 4pm, then got up and got ready.

My show went pretty well, I showed Liana a few things there in the studio and let her play her Napoleon Dynamite Bow Wow Wow song. It was fun.

Afterwards we hit Pac N Save for yet again more food. I swear Manny is a human vacuum when it comes to food, dammit. Every week I have to buy food. Good thing we're taking a Costco run with my mom on Tuesday..free food is always a good thing. Then I got picked up Stinky and went to Starbucks, and went home.

Friday was cool, we made a nice road trip to Rocklin to check out Sierra College and a few apartments. The area is really nice up there. 83% white folks, all over the damn place. Not to be racist or anything but it seemed pretty crimefree and nonghetto up there. The college was great, and people were pretty darn helpful. The counselor really wants to help Manny, and he needs help. So I think Manny will enjoy it there.

The first apartment we went to was fantastic. I really hope we can get in that complex. Bigass bedrooms, nice bathrooms, beautiful amenities. It would cost about the same to live in this place as we are paying now, but we would get so much more space and incentives and crap.

The second place was a giant load of poopy. Office was located in an apartment, a shitty apartment. Office manager rather scared me. So did the maintenance guy. We left very quickly.

Third apartment was okay. A lot cheaper than the first one, but you get what you pay for. Apartment was only 774 sq feet, somewhat older appliances, small but livable if we had to. Also, they only allow one pet, and Leeanne and I both have kitties. So this apartment probably won't work. I'm gonna keep on looking. Leeanne and I are probably going back up in the next week or two to look around again.

Before we headed back to the Bay Area, we hit the Roseville Galleria. Very nice mall, reminded me of Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. Lots of Abercrombie and Fitch type teenagers, with the surfer look too. No ghetto kids to be seen. Pretty cool. Good day.
