My lower back hurts like a bitch. Especially on my left side. My mom says I should drink more water and may have kidney issues. I hope I don't, that would suck. But I have learned to love generic IcyHot, it gets the job done.
It sure has been quiet the last few days with no Manny to keep me annoyed/hysterical/happy. I only have Turbokitty to keep me company, who sleeps next to me on my bed or behind the TV.
Tuesday was interesting, I picked up Cathy from SFO, only her flight was 1 1/2 hours behind schedule due to lightening there in Dallas. I entertained myself by paying $2 for a $1 soda in a vending machine with my ATM card. I checked my bank account online last night (like I always do), and the fuckers tried to charge me $10 twice for a damned soda. I called up their customer service hotline listed on the statement, and should be refunded completely. If not, there is hell to pay.
Anyway when she was coming down the escalator to the baggage claim, I decided to be funny and hold up a "Sovulewski" sign and stand next to the limo drivers who were waiting for people. Cathy thought it was quite funny. The limo drivers just thought I was nuts. Oh well.
Yesterday I actually slept almost 10 hours, for once. I was woken up with severe back pain several times, and decided to sleep on my back for once, which felt much better. I usually sleep on my tummy. I got up around 6pm, took a shower, and made some dinner. It was macaroni and cheese, peas, and chicken. Pretty good, if I say so myself. Then Cathy and I were supposed to go to the gym, but she was tired and my back was hurting, so we ended up getting Starbucks and driving around in the East Bay hills listening to weird music on my Ipod.
Now that I'm sitting here at work, I wish I would have brought the generic Icyhot stuff. Manny got it last year when he injured his leg at Sportmart and went to the work-appointed clinic place. I always hoard medicine and ointments and crap, I'm weird like that. Man I wrote a lot today.
P.S. I can't wait till payday. My last paycheck pretty much went to our rent and my car insurance, and I've had to renew my auto club membership (for towing, flat tires, etc) and pay our phone bill and renew my drivers license. So I'm almost broke. I'll get a little money from my parttime job this week, that'll keep me going.
