- I am doing a VERY short blog today becuase it feels like I'm being gutted alive. I hate my period. I'm taking a lot of Motrin and it still hurts. This morning maybe if my boss comes in on time I can leave work early and get part of my grocery shopping done. I just can't wait to climb in my bed, curl up with Spencer and pass out. Maybe I should buy some Tylenol PM to knock myself out with. Haha. Seriously that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Hmm.
- But yeah that's about it. I'm just trying to survive here at work, wearing my jammie pants. Only like 6 more hrs to go, and all I have to really do is sit here and watch sitcoms online. Yay.

ZZZZZZ
- Word up my homies. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. Right now I'm just uber exhausted since I didn't get a nap and I've been up for like 18 hrs or so. I did have fun the last few days. Friday afternoon I worked a little OT here until 7pm, then Davina called and wanted to hang. We went to Stoneridge and looked around a bit, then to dinner at Outback Steakhouse. I hadn't been there in ages and the food wasn't really that expensive. Later on we hung out at my place and watched Strangers With Candy. Well I did while she napped on my bed.
- Saturday I got up and exercised, then met with Davina to get my eyebrows done. I ended up stopping at my friend Irma's salon there on Bockman in San Lorenzo. (American Girls). I kind of like the individual attention and the whole catching up-gossip factor. At least when she's doing my eyebrows anyway. Davina was going to get a manicure but that would have taken a long while and we wanted to go shopping. So we went to Target. I got Dad's bday present and part of my Halloween costume. Next was lunch @ Carrows, a quick stop at Payless Shoe Source, and a spontaneous decision to visit McConeghy House next to Kennedy Park. It's a really neat historical home with a rich history. There were old furniture, clothing, pictures, and lots of neat stories. I'm glad we stopped by. Later on in the evening Cathy and I ran some errands, and hung out in front of Larry's house drinking (least I did). Then Michael texted me so I went walking with him and Irma for a bit. Then I went to Walgreens. Nothing more entertaining than a drunken Walgreens run at midnight. I eventually fell asleep on my bed. Good times.
- On Sunday I decided to do something fun with my day and take Dad to Sebastopol. Did my 2 mile exercise of course, then picked him up. After getting gas, flowers and coffee, we were on our way. We both really enjoyed ourselves. I think he enjoyed going out of the house. I may look after him this Saturday afternoon, let's see how things go. Anyway that's about it. I'm exhausted, as I mentioned earlier. Toodles.

Blah blah
- What's up folks? It's an early Friday morning, and I'm stone cold chillin at work. Not much going on lately. Working, getting exercise. This weekend I don't have much going on yet, at least set in stone. May hang with Davina/Lorie. I'm working a little OT later on this afternoon so that's good. A little extra money won't hurt. I'm also back on my good eating plan since last weekend. I'll try to be good in the next few days but I can't make any promises. Food can be evil. Um that's about it. Y'all have fun and be safe out there. :-)

time for a catnap
- Hey homies. What's shakin? I'm just sitting here trying to stay awake. I am exhausted. I think it's a combo of working both jobs the past few days, and not fully recovering from the weekend yet. I should get about 8 hours of sleep later today and I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to getting paid on Thursday, since I have a few bills plus I have bday gifts to buy. Kimmie, my Dad and Michelle all have birthdays in October. Fun times.
- Not much else going on, yo. This morning I'm grocery shopping. Oh the excitement. I will say FoodMaxx has bombass grapes. Hecka big and still good 6 days after you buy them. Firm and juicy. How I like my men. Haha. Okay I'm gonna go, time for a catnap.

Great weekend, learned a lot
- What's up folks? Back from my uber long and fun weekend. I hope this writing is somewhat coherant, because I'm exhausted. I've been up about 18 hrs now and I won't be in bed for another six. I may catnap soon. Shoot I may catnap in midblog and just come back to it. Anyway, on Thursday I hung out with Kimmie at the Grape Festival in Lodi. Beforehand we met at Mountain Mike's for lunch and did a little browsing at Kmart, then walked a mile to the festival grounds. I really enjoy coming every year. It's basically like a county fair. Clowns, halls with random exhibits/booths, and lots of yummy foods that I usually try to avoid at all costs. I was bad and had a corn dog, roasted corn on the cob and a banana milkshake. So freakin good, but oh so bad for me. Later on in the evening at her house we watched House starring William Katt (from Greatest American Hero) then The Watcher In The Woods starring a very old Bette Davis and the chick from Ice Castles. Cheesy movies, but awesome.
- Friday afternoon I headed on over to Sandi's place to meet for her church's houseboat trip on Lake Melones near Angels Camp. We carpooled in her vehicle, and got there after only a few hours. Now I won't go into minute detail on EVERYTHING we did at the retreat, but I'll tell you the important facts. I was a little apprehensive about this retreat because of the large amounts of water activities, and I am NOT a swimmer. Not only that, I didn't know anyone at all except Sandi. I thought I'd be bored to death by myself. Surprisingly I wasn't bored, and went out on a boat several times while others went tubing, wakeboarding or waterskiiing. The people in Sandi's post college group are really great. They made me feel like part of the family right away, and didn't seem fake. So many church groups have cliques galore, and make a newcomer feel like an outsider. Every single person was friendly and introduced themselves. No bad attitudes, no exclusions. True Christians. Oh yeah, the small group time was really enlightening. I learned a lot about grace in Luke 15, especially in the parable about the two brothers. I related a lot more with the younger screwed up one who is welcomed home by his father although he squandered away his part of the inheritance on hookers. I have backslid several times. Each time God goes "No way lady, I'm not letting you go, no matter what you do" then picks me back up off the ground. It's a good feeling knowing God won't let me get too far from Him.
- So yeah, that was my weekend in a nutshell. After we left for home, we stopped for pizza in Angels Camp with a few people, then drove back to Stockton. Then I had my nice hour long drive back to San Lorenzo. Oh well. By the time I got home I was exhausted. I unpacked, put away clean laundry I had washed right before I left, and took a nice hot shower. After going without hot showers for two days, it felt great. Being stinky is no fun. Also, my cat Spencer missed me and spent most of his weekend in Cathy/TJ's room. Now he's probably on my bed, waiting for me to get home from work. I'll tell you one thing, when I get home in the morning, I'll be passed out within seconds of hitting the pillow.

Foodmaxx.. take it to the max!
- Heidi ho neighbors. It's early Monday morning again, and here I am at work. I usually blog about my exciting weekend adventures, but I don't have much to talk about. Okay I did have fun on Friday night though. That afternoon I got up and did my 45 min walk, then Sandi texted and we got together for dinner in Dublin. We had some yummy morsels at Applebee's. Sirloin steak, veggies, baked potato, and a few buffalo wings. Then we went over to Coldstone for dessert and I had a "like it" size sinless sweet cream with graham cracker crumbs. So tasty. We had fun just hanging together, and I'll see her later this week when I go on a houseboat retreat with her church group. It'll be a blast. That's about it for my Friday.
- Saturday I actually went back to the gym after a long hiatus, and did about an hour of cardio. Felt so good too. I spent the rest of the day lounging around watching movies, and really late that night I went to Walmart/Foodmaxx with Cathy. I love late night adventures. Sunday was pretty much a repeat of Saturday. Got up, went walking, watched a lot of TV, went on a random drive with Cathy, took a nap, watched more TV, and now I'm at work. Oh boy. I needed the rest though. Later this week from Thursday through Sunday I'll be way busy having fun at the Grape Festival then on a retreat so I'm looking forward to it. First I have to get through my work week which isn't really stressful to begin with, just I'm pretty busy. Oh well. Okay now I'm off to entertain myself for at least 4 hours till my boss comes in.

HO hum
- What's up my homies? Me here just chillin like a villain. Not much going on lately. I went walking on Wednesday and Thursday, and I'm planning on going every day this weekend too. Gotta keep up that exercise. I'll start going back to the gym in a month or two when it get dark sooner and it's colder outside. For now, nice long walks to the Duck Pond, around the baseball diamonds and back is cool. Let's see what else is new? Um nothing. Next weekend I'm going on a houseboat retreat with Sandi's post-college group from church, that should be fun. I'd like to say I'll work on my tan but my goal is not to get burned. I'm sure I'll have a fun time. Okay off to start my weekend. Well in like 4 1/2 hrs I can anyway.

I can do it!!
- Word up y'all, it's the middle of the week. How's everyone doing? Not too much goin on here. I've been busy working, trying to catch up on sleep when I can and exercising. I'm walking up to 5 days a week now, thanks to my schedule opening up. I'm real close to being under a certain three digit number, and I'm excited about that. Perservence pays off I guess. Sometimes it's hard to resist Cathy's baking projects, but then I remember that I don't want diabetes, or to put on more weight. I can do it! Speaking of that my boss tried to imitate Richard Simmons yesterday morning and did a horrible job. Hahaha. Now where was I going with this?
- Oh yeah, it's a lot easier to stay on an eating plan when you only buy the bare minimum groceries you need. You can be a cheapass and still healthy if you only purchase what you are running out of, and get store brand stuff. Luckily I'm not running out of much this week, except fresh veggies, eggbeaters, etc. Don't give in to the Oreos on sale, and don't go down any aisles unless there's something on your list you need. Makes avoiding junk food a lot easier. There's my "stuff I just realized" tips for the week. Everyone be safe, I'm gonna rock out to Journey and watch TV online here at work.

Fun weekend, now I'm frustrated
- Howdy folks. Back from another fun weekend. It's actually Labor Day weekend so lots of folks are still off today. Not me. Well I don't have to work my other job later this afternoon. Which is fantastic since I left my purse in Lodi and need to go get it this morning. If Cathy can't come with me I'm just gonna have to be very careful and pray I won't get in an accident/get pulled over. I am so dumb sometimes, I swear. Anyway, here's how the last several days have been.
- Friday was pretty low key. Got up, went walking, made myself dinner, lounged around the house watching movies. Not too thrilling, but I didn't mind. I've enjoyed the extra "down" time lately.
- Saturday I got up, went walking, showered, packed, made breakfast, and headed out the door for Lodi. Kimmie and I met at Moomoo's downtown for lunch. I was awful and had a Hula burger with sweet potato fries and shared a few of Kimmie's zucchini sticks. I usually get a salad or something, but oh well. Then we went walking around the area, checking out various stores. I got 3 bad 80s movies on VHS. I really shouldn't be spending extra dough right now, but I couldn't help it. Least I have stuff to watch later this week. We happened upon Scramblz Kountry Kitchen where Kimmie's niece Sabrina works, but she wasn't in. We stayed for iced tea/cheesecake though. It wasn't really that good. Oh well. Much later on we went back to Kimmie's place, and watched Stephen King's Misery with Kathy Bates and James Caan. Good lord that woman is insane. Seriously. Then we got bored and craved a late dinner/exercise, so we walked (she rolled) 2 1/2 miles to Coco's. I had a few carne asada fajitas, a side salad, and some peach/ice cream dessert thing. Very tasty. Our waiter was hot and had a nice convo with Kimmie while I was in the potty. Let's say some connections were made. You go girl! So later on after we got back we watched most of Tim And Eric Awesome Show season 3, then called it a night.
- We slept a long time, through the whole morning. I think we both needed it. Once Kimmie was up we finished Tim & Eric, then had Taco Bell for a late lunch. I had two steak fresco tacos. Yummy and about the only thing non-artery cloggging on the menu. Kimmie put on the 1997 remake of The Shining, and we watched the first installment, and chomped on apples as a snack. Then I put on Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and she started prepping dinner. Then she put on the rest of The Shining and we had our homemade cheesesteak sandwiches. So freaking good. I only had one and I brought the other one home, I'll warm it up later tonight as part of my dinner. So yeah that's about it. I'm kinda mad at myself for leaving my purse there, I'm so absent minded. Well what can I do? I can't live without it, and fortunately I don't have to work this afternoon so at least I can get it and sleep. Still frustrating though.

hey hey its friday
- Howdy doody. Yay it's Friday. Last few days have been pretty cool. I've finally gotten enough sleep, which is awesome. Wednesday morning I went grocery shopping by myself. Left work at 7am, was home putting away stuff by 8:30. Big difference compared to shopping with Michelle. Unlike her I actually buy what's on my list and get the heck out. If I'm not running out of something, why buy it? Sheesh.
- In other news, the weekend is upon us. I'm gonna be in Lodi from Saturday afternoon until late Sunday evening when I come to work. Later this morning I'm working a few extra hours at Traffic to make some extra dough. Since the Bay Bridge is closed for construction and it's the start of a holiday weekend they need all the help they can get. Yay. Okay time to watch more TV online like I've been doing lately to amuse myself at work.

Change for the good
- Hey guys. Thanks for your overwhelming positive responses from my last blog. Kimmie, Cathy, Sandi, and Davina y'all are great friends. I feel so much better today. Like I posted in my last blog comment, I've decided the best thing right now is to just take myself out of the situation. I'm not totally out of their lives, but I no longer have to take my dad to all of his doctor appointments, grocery shop for them, and run all over the place. If dad needs to go somewhere further away, like Palo Alto that's fine. I'll take him. For now, I need space and sleep. I'm still monitoring things, just from afar. My nerves can't take much of the yelling I've had to do, or the constant phone calls. I just need peace and quiet.
- Only possible negative change out of all this is not suckering free groceries from Dad. Haha. Yeah I guess I was spoiled because I ran all his errands for him and never asked for gas, just to help out with food costs. Now I'm doing that on my own. I'm like the other 99.9% of adults and paying my own way. It makes sense though. I just have to get used to budgeting and since I've been trying to eat healthy food it costs a bit more. I have the magical power of coupons and the ability to visit three stores if need be to get the best bargains. I'll still finish shopping much faster than if Michelle were with me. That broad takes forever. Yeah so no biggie, just an adjustment slightly made on my pocketbook. Shoulda thought of that before purchasing my laptop. Oh well. Good thing I'm working lots of overtime as of late.
- Yeah so that's about it. Thanks for reading my rambling, friends.
